We had the second floor master, the room was very comfortable, enjoyed the pool area and the grill as we cooked almost everyday for dinner, using the kitchen and our little fridge where we could store our food in the kitchen (each room has their own fridge). The owner was very friendly. I would stay here again... OHH!!! bring ear plugs if you don't like roosters crowing from 11:00pm to 7:00am weird time but that's what they do.... from what I understand this is problem everywhere in neighborhood settings. but got used to it after couple of night and didn't have to wear them... this is a GREAT PLACE to stay!!!!

Room Tip: make sure you can do stairs if you get a second floor room about 30 steps....

Recently stayed at Eldemire's - nice, clean, comfortable, quiet room - owners are wonderful and helpful if you ask questions about places to visit on the island - but leave you alone if you don't need anything. If you want a mint on your pillow every night this isn't the place for you - but if you want a clean shower, a comfortable bed, a nice pool to relax in and peace and quiet this is the place for you. We would stay there again if we go back to Cayman.

Room Tip: room 4 upstairs was very quiet - couldn't hear the roosters crowing and never heard other guests

We stayed a week here in a 1 bedroom apt. Quiet except for the chickens and roosters which frequent the entire island lol which really didnt bother us at all. The Inn is homey which is the best description I can think of. Our apt. had a full kitchen which was great. The pool was practically all ours. Its centrally located close the Georgetown and not far from 7 mile or easy access to the East End. It is by no means 5 star but for the price easily 5 rating. There is no housekeeping which we dont care for anyway. All in all a great local place we loved.

This is just the type of accommodations that I love.

If you are looking to be right on the beach with a big pool, maid service to make your bed, scrub your floors, change you towels everyday, an on site restaurant, and people to cater to your every need: this is not for you.

If, however, you want a more quiet, private experience in a nice little apartment: read on.

Very reasonably priced, in the school district neighbourhood just south of Georgetown, Eldemire's has cheerful rooms, comfy furniture, and lots of storage. We stayed in suite 7 which has a big bedroom with a king sized bed, walkin closet, bathroom with a tub/shower, full sized eat in kitchen with everything but a dishwasher, a small living room, a patio with chairs and side table, private garden with picnic table. There is also a coin op laundry on site. These are housekeeping apts, so if you need clean beach or bath towels, just ask.

The pool is very small and unheated, but we came to snorkel, not sit in a pool, so we never used it. We did use the grill in the pool area, however.

Like many Caribbean neighbourhood's, if you poke around, you will find things like chairs, windows, or boat parts stacked off in hidey holes.

This neighbourhood is safe, quiet (never any loud music), and friendly. With a rental car (convenient parking provided), it's a short drive to 7 Mile beach, Geoegetown, Camana Bay. It's much closer to the blowholes, QEII botanical gardens, Crystal Caves, and Rum Point than 7MB hotels are.

There are jungle fowl (chickens), Ching Chings, iguanas, Zenaida doves. I enjoy all the wild life and especially enjoy the mother hens and chicks. Of course, the "roosters do what roosters do" and they crow during the night. We found earplugs were left on the night stands, but we never used them. The white noise of the AC helped to cover the crowing, anyway.

We felt very comfortable, with lots of room to spread out, friendly owners, all at a reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Suite 7 is the largest, most private.

We absolutely love Eldemire's. Owner and staff are so friendly. Love the full size kitchen to fix coffee and microwave a muffin. Great fridge to keep food cold. Room is adequate size and the price is definitely right for our budget. Close to George Town but in a quiet neighborhood. Can't wait to come back
