Pros - the service at Khastle is absolutely outstanding. Trudi-Ann did everything she could to make sure that we were very welcome into Khastle and Jamaica as a whole. She helped us arrange rides and made sure we felt safe. She even gave us a small surprise towards the end of our trip. This service also extends to her staff too. Her staff were very friendly and accommodating and did an excellent job of making us feel welcome.

The price is very reasonable and definitely beats a lot of the hotels and resorts in the area.

We only had breakfast once during our stay (timing didn't work out with our planned excursions), but it was very delicious. It was probably the few times in our trip where we thought we experienced real Jamaican food.

Cons - The first night we saw a dead moth in our bed. This was definitely a bit unnerving (especially since we came from another hotel that had bug issues) and it wasn't the best first impression of Khastle.

The room was a little bit smaller than we expected it to be. Fortunately this didn't have a huge impact on our trip, but we were just expecting it to be a little bit bigger.

Getting to/from Khastle can be a little bit challenging. I wouldn't recommend walking back to Khastle at night (there are a few dogs roaming the streets nearby and these streets aren't very well lit). If you take a taxi from Doctor's Cave Beach it costs around $20 USD so it's not the worst thing. We also got cab rides back from Whittier Village (which is down the street) for about $5 USD.

I would recommend Khastle to anyone who wants to take the "road less traveled" in Jamaica. Thanks Trudi for making our stay in Montego Bay very enjoyable!

It was great having you both stay with us. The booking comes with a conteniental breakfast which was served to you every morning before you left on your excursions. On the final morning we wanted to treat you to an authentic Jamaican breakfast and we are very happy you enjoyed it. With a tropical country unfortunately it comes with moths at times. We apologize for that and hope the overall experience diminishes that in your memory. We look forward to having you stay with us again.

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was and amazing experience. Trudi Ann is definetely the greatest hotess ever. She made us feel like family and at home. The quality on the service is unlike any we had experience before in any other country we've visit. If we ever go back to Montego Bay we will for sure stay at Khatle Khodero.

We just stayed one night, but we had a very comfortable stay and a wonderful Jamaican breakfast. Our host, Trudy, was really awesome and ready to take care of all our needs.

We would definitely stay again and highly recommend the Khastle.
