Everything about this tour was amazing! Crazy views, zooming through the trees, watching the sunrise from 300m in the air!

Absolutely amazing and the team are super friendly!

Worth every penny!!

This was absolutely the most perfect start on our aniverssery day. Thank you Luis for taking our day to a higher level. There is no doubt that Luis is top pro - he knows what his doing and he gladly tells you all you wants to know. Normally I’m a fried of highs, but he knew exactly how to calm me. Thank you so much for this fantastic experience 🎈

My partner and I were supposed to fly on Wednesday, but due to a number of issues, it was rescheduled to Saturday. Friday night we were accosted by thunder, lightning and sheets of torrential rain but it had cleared through over the night and left some heavy clouds and a lot of wet ground. Apprehensive this may have cancelled our flight again, we got up at 0440 got ready for the day ahead.
We were collected at 0520 from our hotel and picked up another couple as we drove to Luis' family home, where we were flying from. We arrived with 15 mins to go before sunrise (at 0620), and we were in the air as the sun started to peek over the horizon.
The 5 of us quickly gained altitude to about 800 feet as Luis talked to us about his family, the family balloon business, the passion he had for flying and how he monitored our progress as we sailed over the lush vegetation and farms.
We gusted along at 18mph but to us the air was still and aside from the odd whoosh from the burner we enjoyed silence and the magnificent vistas of the Dominican Republic. We saw massive sugar cane plantations, heard the brayings of donkeys from far below, and waved to workers in the fields as we drifted overhead. After an hour or so in the air we began our descent in the Sugar Cane plantation. Luis aimed us for the road where his crew were so they could help catch us and pack the balloon away. Unfortunately, the winds dragged us off the road and into a water filled ditch the ran alongside the road, but with Luis working the burner and his crew pushing and pulling the basket, we were soon free and dismounting.
After the flight we joined Luis and his family at thier home for a champagne and local cuisine breakfast. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, Luis's father presented us with freshly baked cookies, fresh butter, hot, freshly made, cheese, fruit, and ham and cheese sandwiches. We chatted with the other guests and then drank a toast together before returning to our hotels at about 0920.
This was a wonderful trip and well worth the wait and expense.

Fantastic experience. Luis was a hilarious pilot and really made the trip. The balloon ride was much longer than expected and his father's hospitality at the post balloon ride breakfast was great.

If you want to enjoy something you have never tried before..... try this!!! Best experience EVER! We had never been on a hot air balloon before & my husband and I were more than pleased with the knowledge (from the owner/pilot) & the tranquility of flight itself!! I recommend this to anyone visiting Punta Cana!!
