I loved this hike! It is a really immersive hike for when you just want to get out of the car and get immersed into the forests of the Smokies. It's moderately strenuous. Most of the trail is not too difficult. There is a rock scramble at the end of the hike, if you want to take in the view high above the forest. There were two different routes on the rock scramble: one followed a trail to a steep rock face, and the other was more of a rocky hop and scramble to traverse.
