Clean and beautiful views but small room,TV did not work could not get wifi in our room. No real bar/restaurant. Breakfast was okay but that was all that was offered there and not open at any other time. Could not always find someone that spoke English. Not convenient to town or dive shops.

After staying with a local Palau guest house we were fearful we had made a mistake booking here, but to our surprise this new hotel is very nice. The rooms are new although a little small but very well set up. Its designed to cater for Chinese patrons but the staff are all extremely helpful and were very keen to make our stay comfortable. The young lady at the front desk and her chef were both lovely and the local employees were very friendly. We had a nice stay here. My only negative comment is the availability of Coconut Crab on the menu, i hope this is changed. Breakfast was included in the room cost and was Chinese style but the staff offered ti cook us european food if we wanted; we went with the flow and the food was great. We dined twice at night at the restaurant and the Chinese meals were very good, in fact the broccoli dish was the best we have ever had.

If you expect a resort with grounds and a certain lavish atmosphere, this is not the place to go. It is a hotel run by Chinese staff, and they cater almost exclusively to Chinese needs.

The location is great – from the deck on the roof you have a great view of the surrounding islands. Unfortunately, they don’t make much use of this wonderful space. There are chairs and tables, but no bar, no food and almost no shade (we saw only one parasol).

Breakfast is served downstairs in an atmosphere that reminded us of a hostel. Food and drinks are mainly Chinese and presented in a way that is not very appealing. There was no real coffee, only Nescafe. We asked for Western food, and they prepared oatmeal and bacon especially for us every morning.

Staff was trying to help and make us feel comfortable, they let us have a shower after we had checked out, when we came back from a snorkeling trip before our flight. Unfortunately, their English (in an English-speaking Country!) was not very good, so they could not help much with booking tours.

The room had a slightly moldy smell, but the beds were comfortable. Remote controls were labeled only in Chinese, power outlets and appliances were also Chinese standard. Some paint came off the wall. The view from the windows was not as spectacular as they post it on their website, but we only had a standard room and the view was still good. The balcony had a clothesline, but no deck chairs to enjoy the view. The bathroom was clean and modern.

We think the hotel is overpriced for what they offer.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for our first trip to Palau. It was absolutely stunning and exactly like their online photos. The rooms are huge, airy, lots of light and decorated impeccably. Not to mention the patios that give you stunning views!

The people running the resort could not be more gracious and hospitable. They always made sure we had anything we needed. Their breakfast and dinners are absolutely delicious.

We cannot wait to return for another vacation and of course stay here! It really is the gem of Palau.
