La Dogana means customs. This restaurant is in a building that used to be the toll booth for the SS2, the old road between Siena and Rome. Its is a charming old building, with a huge fireplace in which they grill the meat that's served in the restaurant. The rustic feel of the place gives it a lot of charm and a cosy feel. The menu consistes of local dishes, which is good, because in this area they have the best ingredients you will find anywhere. Since the wines from the area are also great, everything on your table will be locally sourced. Starters, main courses and deserts are always very tasty. Add a good glass of wine and you can't go wrong. Price level if more than fair so we will be back, time and time again. .
