Staff was nice and friendly, the room clean but very small for a family room and a bit dated. Breakfast was nice but at 8 am there were already several things missing, such as croissants, and not being refilled, which was disappointing.

Room tip: Rooms on the lower ends of the corridors are quieter

The staff were helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts was extensive. Especially good was the evening meal served at with good wine. Thank you for. A comfortable stay. The advice for the travel to florence was excellent the road was quiet and spectacular views too.

We are doing a six week road trip around Europe and prefer more rural locations to stay in. Our room is lovely and clean, spacious and comfortable. The towels are changed every day, the staff are very helpful and breakfast varied and plentiful.
Having said we like rural, this is just a little too remote. The roads in and out of Tole are steep, narrow hairpin bends, my stomach is in my mouth everytime we venture out.
Our stay is for five nights and although driving around is a risky adventure, a car is necessary for stays longer than a couple of days. The area is beautiful!

The hotel is spotlessly clean and very efficiently run. Our room was a good size and well equipped.
As to the restaurant, although it has several dining rooms we found our food was lacklustre, certainly no more than average. We also had a young girl serving our table who was inadequately trained to be unsupervised Doing this yet which became an irritant when in Italian, then in German and finally in English before pointing out the actual words on the menu, we tried to get our two glasses refilled with red wine (first after much incomprehension she brought us two empty glasses, then the menu again, then finally one little carafe of red - we gave up on the second one as life is too short and it was getting embarrassing and getting unwelcome attention).
