Inspiring to see and learn about this Buddha as well as more about Buddhism.
Would love to see it completed but it was still worth the visit now.
Great views of Phuket from here as well.

Thank Justin C

Absolutely loved the visit. Be respectful and cover arms and legs. If you do have arms and legs exposed you can get something from them to cover up. Whilst still under going renovations it is safe to visit. The temple is amazing and so are the views.

The road towards the top is a steep drive, and if you are riding up via scooter, would suggest you to be careful and take it slow.

The view is amazing and is a peaceful place to spend an hour and watch the monks chant. I would imagine that sunset time would be a great timing, especially at the highest viewpoint facing the south (see pic 9). We chose to head towards Promthep cape instead to catch sunset and was not disappointed. Might be worthwhile for others to plan a strategic timing to see day and sunset here if you are nearby.

And ladies, be wise to choose your clothing or bring some shawl to cover up. There are provided ones at a donation on your free will too.

The big Buddha is still not finished. Nice views from the site. A few food stalls scattered around. Take plenty mozzie spray as we ended up covered in bites!
