Nice place for a high-end budget, it's a bit expensive s in comparison to others. I don't like that you can't do your own laundry. You don't need breakfast if you want to adventure out and explore Taiwan. There's a brunch place next door and across the street, seven eleven near by, a dumpling place that serves okay dumplings. And very convenient location to the mrt. I highly recommend getting a car to go along your IDP.

have stayed in Dua for number of times in the past years, except last when they increased price. The hotel room, bed are very comfortable. i can see they have changed the amenities to cheaper stuff but it is fine. the drink has also reduced from 4 to 2 only. I will still be happy to stay at Dua again when I visit Kaohsioung next time. FYI, from the train station platform to the hotel is quite a bit of walk..

We had a comfortable stay at Hotel Dua. Beautiful decor with spacious rooms, this hotel is highly recommended due to its location (stone's throw away from Liuhe Night Market and Formosa MRT).

This hotel also offers a sumptious spread for breakfast.

Spend 4 days in Kaohsiung as part of our Taiwan family holiday. Daughter booked Hotel Dua from past experience. It was a great choice for us. Rooms are of generous size and very well laid out. Walking distance to subway and night markets.
Breakfast spread is fantastic with a big variety of cuisine to suite most.
Staff members are attentive and courteous.
I thought the lifts are slow and should have a bell to announce its arrival as after such a long wait. Room lights are rather dim.
Otherwise well recommended.

Very good service most of the staff can comunicate in English.

Beakfast offers many choices with high quality of food ranging from healthy vegetables, dim sum, cold cuts and cheeses. And a nice view of the town from a high floor.

In house restaurant offers a goid selection of meats and pasta.

Internet wi fii slus available but slow speed. If you want to have a reasonable conection better buy a sim card there are packages available at 100 NTD (3 USD?) per day without data limt 4 G.
