This temple was easy to find from the metro. The architecture amongst other modern buildings was an amazing contrast. There were many people and offerings to observe, and a variety of small areas of temples and worship.
The local people carried on with their prayers and observances even as tourists posed for selfies and ignored the sprituality of this lovely place.

This temple was easy for us to get to walking from central Taipei. By the end of our trip we had seen many temples, but this was the first one we went to find specifically. We spent a little time inside. It was a busy holiday weekend and we were able to watch as people came to worship. The colours and smells are all very exotic. Really interesting and worth a visit.

This place is a spiritual hub for many of the devout who, have the jostle with sightseers and photograph takers. The detail in the building decorations is fantastic. The icons (if that’s the right word) a beautiful and grand. The compound includes a waterfall and beautiful pond. There are multiple areas for devotions. Some worshippers left fruit offerings and others were flipping special stones. I can only assume it was as part of a prayer request.

In the hell of the city this temple is a haven of peace and tranquility.
the impression of being transported elsewhere.

Nice calm place to worship. It could be intense if too many people go since the place is small but should still go if have the chance.
