We thought we were going to the Huaxi Street Night Market--but we think this is actually where we went. There was a lot of food to choose from--including some healthy stuff like fresh juice. Walking along and trying things here and there was really fun, tasty, and cheap!
Another night market in an easy to get to location near train station and Lungshan Temple. I sampled the fried seafood stick for only 10 dollars so I went back and got another it was delicious.
This street market was as good as the other in regards to food, nothing out of the ordinary just regular stuff, some cheap stuff for sale but nothing that you cannot get any other place. Recommended to visit for about 1-2 hours.
Visited this place after Longshan Temple which is just across the road. The market was already opened mid afternoon although some stalls were only getting ready. Lots of choices and multi-varieties. Worth a visit.
This very lively night market is awash with stalls of every kind, those mostly food related. It can get very crowded and it is advisable to go early on as soon as it gets dark. Some of the most popular food stalls can demand a wait and queuing if you want to sample their wares!
In the old days, this was a sleazy area but it has shown improvement over the last few years. The street-food offering is better. Unkind people would describe the goods on offer as junk, but it's all n the eye of the beholder. The night market is not far from the Longshan Temple.
