I loved the views from the hill! Stayed here for 7 nights for the Phuket Sandbox and the room is absolutely lovely to return back to. Nice big balcony with great views of Kamala Beach (which Cafe Del Mar also sits). There isn't a direct sunset view though but it was not a dealbreaker.

Room tip: Try to get the top floor if possible. I had elephants stomping around upstairs. Yes I am talking about you, heavy footed heel strikers.

I am so happy I booked this hotel !! The room is big with a comfortable couch and table and a nice balcony with a ceiling fan . We had 2 full size beds which are very comfortable . Shower and toilet are separate which is great . The most amazing buffet breakfast with both western and Thai food fruit , yoghurt omelets sweets eggs and bacon dumplings and so on . As many lattes or cappuccinos as you like . Beautiful pool and sky bar . You will not regret staying here .
One but - 10-14 min walk to the beach , but it’s not too bad

Just got back after spending 14 nights at the excellent Cape Sienna Hotel.
We had booked via TUI and arrived about 6.30 am. Check in time is normally 2.00 pm so we were worried our room might not be ready. We had breakfast by the pool and the room was ready at 8.00 am.
We had a standard room which had fantastic panoramic views of the bay and the fishing boats. Very well appointed and all fittings were of a high standard. The bed was firm and comfortable, you can also choose your pillow if the standard ones do not suit you. Large walk in shower and separate toilet.
We found all the staff very friendly and polite. Without exception they were very helpful if we needed advice or service.
The food at breakfast covered a wide spectrum of tastes and was of a very high quality. On a number of occasions we ate at the poolside restaurant and the Sienna Rocks Cafe across the road. Again this was very high quality and reasonably priced.(UK prices). You can get cheaper food in the local restaurants, but we did not find anywhere that approached the standards offered by the Cape Sienna Hotel. Plus you are in an outstanding location, and on several days we did not leave the tranquility of the Hotel. We did not eat in the other restaurants as they seemed expensive, but i am sure the quality of the al a carte food would be high.
The pool area on the days we were there was quiet, even though most of the sun loungers were occupied. The infinity pool across the road was even more tranquil.
All area were leaned regularly plus the fabric of the hotel was maintained to a high standard.
If you venture out of the hotel it is 5 minute walk to the nearest shops and a further 5 minutes to the beach and Kamala village. There is no footpath on this road down to the shops only a white line,so care needs to be taken. It is however well lit at night.
We visited 3 beaches Kamala on foot or hotel courtesy bus; Surin and Bang Tao are a 10 minute taxi ride away. There are numerous taxi ranks around and the price varied, but on average it cost about 400 baht (£11) each way. All 3 are great for swimming with soft sand and tree lined shade along the beaches. Numerous beach restaurants along the beaches of varying quality and cleanliness. Sun loungers with umbrella and table are 200 baht all day.
In summary a fantastic hotel with beautifal views.

Absolutely incredible place! I can’t praise this hotel more. The hotel feels bright new and shiny, impeccably clean, staff are absolutely fantastic. The breakfast and food throughout the hotel is delicious- a mix of Thai and western and the Vanilla Sky bar cocktails- and the brilliant team up there are superb! Also, abd hard to find in Thailand- the wine is delicious!
The two pools are dreamy, one is an infinity pool overlooking the bay, and the other at the main hotel gives you almost 360 view of the area, where you can take in the seas skies and the most incredible sunsets.
We had a sea view studio, and it was fab. Room cleaned every day, lovely little touches like slippers and mozzie burners. My only tip to enhance your own experience would be to take your own shampoo and conditioner as the ones there made me hair crazy frizzy- but I am clutching at straws here!!
Absolutely fantastic, can’t wait to go back. Massive thanks to the whole team for looking after us so perfectly!! Xx

Room tip: Best setting for overnight air on is 21! Splurge on the martinis at the sky bar- you won’t be disappointed!

Wow...so nice to read...we do try hard to offer exceptional quality/price ratios in our Food % Beverage offering, as it is something I personally feel lacking in many places I stayed. Best Regards,

First time to stay in Kamala Beach. Just drive approx 40 min from Phuket airport.

Car park space seems so limited but you can ask Hotel staff to park a car for you.

Hotel Location is on the cliff as you may need to walk up and down in hotel area as I do not recommend this hotel for elder. If needed, you should request to stay in hotel building in or near reception area.

Room is quite big enough for 2 persons.

Our view from the room is one of the best sunset views from hotel room as I’ve stayed

Breakfast is standard for 4-star hotel with mix of Local and Western style.

Small comment on TV channel is poor signal for international channel.

Staff is friendly with big smile

7-11 is 10-min walk from hotel reception. There is no local food stall closed to the hotel except restaurant.

No public transportation @ hotel area. You need taxi or you have to rent a car for more convenience.

Highly recommended for couple from room with a view.

Room tip: Upgrade to room with jacuzzi (+ stunning sunset view)
