Visited Alexaria during July for a week. We couldn't of wished for a better place to stay in Levkada. Alexaria is only 10/15 mins drive from Levkada town but far enough away from the crowds to be relaxing. We decided on car hire as we wanted to explore the island and it meant that we could find somewhere different to eat every evening the Levkada town. Although Alexaria do have bicycles that you can use to buzz into town or the local mini supermarket a few minutes away.
The owner Aris is the perfect host with nothing being too much trouble. He has the wonderful Vangelis ( the best at making an iced coffee anywhere see photo) and Giorgos. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchenette has everything you need to breakfast and lunch at home. There is a lovely pool with pool and mini gym and excellent bar area where you can get snacks and drinks until late.
We had come to relax and spent a few happy days lazing around Alexaria after stocking up on basics at the local supermarket ( short drive away). However Levkada is so beautiful you must explore so we went to a few of the excellent beaches ( get there early as they are very busy and parking is challenging or expensive). Kathisma is breathtaking, and if you travel further on the views at the top of the hill are stunning and you can watch the paragliders descending down on to the beach.
Also worth a drive is to travel up into the mountains from Levkada town where you can find it is cooler and can buy the local excellent lentils and honey from the small cafes.
To sum up Levkada is very beautiful, it has fantastic beaches, green, stunning views from the mountains and the most amazing local wine (try the Rose). You couldn't go wrong if you visit Levkada and if you do stay at Alexaria with Aris, and the team.

Recently stayed here for 2 weeks in a mini apartment, size was nice for 2 with balcony, air con and large bed. Cleaners came in daily and was to a high spec.
The people were lovely, so laid back and couldn't do enough to help: we decided to hire a car and George arranged it ringing several companies for prices and the car was delivered in the hour!
It is very family oriented with big pool, games, children's area and nice little bar area.
Really liked it and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Two days ago, we come back home from there full of nice impressions! Everything was fine! Next year we will again consider to came in this accommodation! Thanks for everything Aris, wine was perfect and pillows are yet in use! We spend nice time in Alexaria
