Wild water Lodge is a stunning place . Located on a private island , on river nile with rapids all around you . The Lodge is luxurious, extremely friendly, as in most Uganda tourist spots, the food is good, and the location is unique, so close to the rapids you can almost touch them. We had a day trip for lunch , which was good and will come back and stay . Sasha , the manager was very helpful . All the best !

This a really unique and stunning place. Yes, pricy, but what do you expect. Located on a private island right in the middle of Rapids in the river Nile?
Only a handful of the most excellent and complete rooms/bandas/suites. With private terras above the Nile.
Full board. Three course lunch, five course dinner, again, in the middle of the river. With views to match.
Any idiot complaining does not know what beauty is.
Kind staff. Lovely (hand paddled) to collect you from the shore so no noise of outboard motor or oil pollution.
Prices of good and drinks are not above normal restaurant prices which is amazing considering the location and isolation.
Oh yes, you can come just for a meal of drink as well. At these prices just the thing to do for a Sunday lunch.

What a pristine air to wake up to, with the smell of wet plants and the oxygene of the rapids! Watch the sun come up over the mighty Nile, birds fishing, and the water rushing by forming hundreds of different shapes, waterfalls, whirls and foam. Super nice staff, incredible dinner options; the rooms are large and super nicely furnished; the bathroom with its shower and sink of stone, windows to the ground, adds to the simple but original architecture..

Room tip: rooms Aswan and Merowe are closer to the rapids than others

Three great days spent here. The Lodge is luxurious, extremely friendly, as in most Uganda tourist spots, the food is good, and the location is unique, so close to the rapids you can almost touch them. Aside from sitting around the lodge and enjoying the view and the birds, we did a great 22km white water rafting day down the Nile. Outstanding place!

Room tip: Rooms with the best view overlook the strongest rapids and the sound of the water is constant.

Thank you for a fantastic stay at Wild Waters.

Located on a magical island in the middle of the Nile, with wooden walkways connecting the different areas.

The rooms are majestic with enormous bathrooms. The balcony has an outdoor bath tub so that you can enjoy the views of the rapids.

Food and wine were excellent.

We also did the bungee jump and rafting through Adrift which was an incredible experience, and felt very taken care of by the professional staff.
