Best crayfish in batter. Fresh oil makes all the difference. Friendly staff. Will highly recommend. All fish was fresh and delicious.

Took a 20 minute drive to try out the fish and chips that had taken out a National award.

The fish itself was lovely and fresh, and I thought the portion size was reasonable. However the bad outweighed the good.

I requested crumbed fish as I don’t like stodgy batter. The crumb coating was basically a batter with crumbs - thick and floury.

The chips were average with no seasoning. The salt and pepper calamari rings I ordered were also coated in the thick crumb batter - definitely not salt n pepper! The calamari was on the rubbery side as well.

While there seemed many gluten free options on the menu, you could only have grilled fish and salad. Very disappointed and a long wait.
