We had a fabulous time at the resort. We paid for a Grand Pool Suite but got an upgrade to Grand Pool Suite beachfront. From the staff, this was the best room, with the best view. Aptly named unit #101. We couldn't agree more!
We arrived at the low season where the resort has stronger winds and waves. Not quite suitable for swimming in the sea. But it kept the resort more private. The daytrippers came and used the east side of the island, away from us all. Fabulous!
The view from room 101 was breathtaking. We had countless hours of relaxation. The sound of the strong waves hitting the beach was totally relaxing. It beats Ed Sheeran belting out a song.
They have a Bose system that plays music in the room, outdoors and underwater. We couldn't really hear it underwater but we were already beyond cloud 9 with this facility.
Very nice private pool which was free from any prying eyes. The outdoor shower could be seen by the neighbour above if they swam to the edge of their infinity pool. But the facilities in the room were more than adequate. We were not bothered.
From the bed, you can see the pool and the incredible beachfront ahead. Endless hours of beautiful waves crashing on the beach or rocks. It beats the entertainment provided by the AC Ryan in house movies that stock recent movies.

Nice Jacuzzi cum bathtub that holds two adults easily. And you guessed it. You see the outside sea whilst you soak and unwind.
There were beach chairs in the expansive suite to lounge and watch the sunset. (The resort faces West)
The staff was pleasant. They were eager to please and gave us lattitude in exploring the resort.
By the way, the sand feels like flour under your feet. And you felt they never existed.
We had the ultimate dinning. The staff lovingly setup the table with strategically scattered rose petals. The strong winds sported with the dinning setup but it was eventually tamed with lowering of blinds.
The Mercedes Benz pickup was comfortable and Mr Kul was professional in providing a slow unfrenzied drive back. We Bluetoothed our smart phone and played our songs along the way. What a delight it was. I left my phone in the car and he found it when he did his checks. I am very grateful to him.
In short, we would come again. The beautiful beach and Thailand's policy on no private beach makes this a Haven for day trippers. Choose your time of visit and you may have good weather without the day trippers.. all in one beautiful Racha package.More
