I would absolutely book this resort again. Very clean with an attentive, kind staff. The grounds have ample pools for both adults and kids. The resort is right on the beach with a long stretch to walk on. There is security which I assume is 24 hrs. Not that I think it is needed, but clearly the hotel keeps an eye on what is going on.

We upgraded to a Premium Ocean View room and were very happy with the size of the room. The bed was very comfortable. It had a good size rainfall shower and a separate soaking tub. There was a very large patio area which was well equipped with comfortable furniture. There is even a drying rack for swimsuits.

The spa had great ambience and the massages were incredible. There is a sauna, lockers and a tranquil waiting room which is used both before and after the treatment. I spent a full day in the spa.

The resort offers extra dollars if you prepay for the food. We purchased 40000 baht of food upfront and the resort gave us 20000 baht. The resort was great about letting you know your balance and encouraging use of it. We spent 4 full days diving so we didn't use the full 60000 baht, but that was okay. We didn't lose any money by prepaying. Calculate what you expect to use and the plan should work well for you.

Very important -- There is a 10% service fee automatically added to the bill. While it would be expected that this goes to the server or the masseuse, it goes to the resort. I assume it is used to pay the staff? Add an extra 10% and it goes directly to the server. Luckily, we stumbled upon this information. The staff were incredibly grateful for the tips as income in Thailand is low.

The food was pretty good. The buffet breakfast has many, many options with a variety of international foods. There is even a cute kids buffet area designed at a lower height so they can help themselves.

The only negative about this hotel may be the location. It is not right in town so you can't walk to the shops if that's what you are looking for. There is a shuttle offered from the hotel a couple of times per day. Of course, you could also take a taxi or tuk tuk. We never made it to town or used the shuttle as we spent 4 full days scuba diving.

I would not hesitate to stay at this resort again.

Room tip: Premium Ocean View has a very large outdoor patio. Well worth the upgrade

The reception area was underwhelming. But when we reached the club lounge and our villa, we were so happy! Then the staff here make this resort, a little tired in places, but their staff are so courteous, especially at coast restaurant! Ya, Anna, Honey, Nana or Na (think that s her name) and Boy are fantastic.! The lad O at the pool bar is brilliant and Taco in the club lounge when we arrived was great! The guy in the watersports place is fabulous and always remembers our room number! Will look for his name tomorrow as I can’t remember it! Thank you so much for these brilliant people! Took half board option as well as the club lounge . Worth the extra! These guys are also brilliant! Helpful and friendly.

First of all I want to say that I am a frequent flyer when it comes to hotels in Phuket. I have stayed in many and this is by far the worst I have stayed in. Our first night the balcony door would not lock. Then the bed was like sleeping on the floor it was so hard. The room service was microwaved pasta and cashew chicken if you could call it that (1 cashew) for over $50 USD for both items and drinks. The jacuzzi on the balcony would not turn off. The outside of this hotel was very run down. The first room they put us in was not renovated and appeared very shabby. The second room had a much nicer bed but no jacuzzi on the balcony. Honestly, every problem I had they tried to solve and did so but I shouldn't have any of those problems. They gave us a free lunch one day to make up for the bad room service and I greatly appreciated that. However, the food was so ungodly expensive for Thailand it should be illegal. I live in Singapore and food is expensive but when you are paying more than you would in Singapore in Thailand there is a huge problem. We ordered 1 pizza, a salad, and drinks in the room and it was over $70 USD. Every beach resort in Thailand has beach massage ladies that you can get massages for about 400 Baht. Not here! They don't allow it and their spa prices for massages are the same as in the US or Singapore ($100 USD or more). The drinks at the bar from 11:00-12:00 were by 1 get 1 which was the only time we would buy really as a Coke was $4. I just felt like they were robbing me the whole time I was there. Breakfast had a lot of items. Although the pancakes and waffles were not made to order and were cold most days. This is not a resort I would ever recommend to anyone going to Thailand. The staff tried to appease me by fixing these problems but really it was not worth the money in the end. I would have rather stayed at Club Med, Le Meridian or JW Marriott for this price.

Room tip: Ask for a renovated room or dont go here

First of all, we are sorry to read your disappointment. However, please allow me to inform you that all our food is prepared fresh, including our pastas. Nothing is heated up in the microwave and all our sauces are made in house. Furthermore, I have checked the charges for In Room Dining, as the prices mentioned in your review seemed very high. The bill mentioned was 36 USD and not 50. This bill included several drinks and food. We are sorry to hear you found this to be expensive.

Furthermore, please be informed that the beach is public area and not under control of the resort, no business is allowed since it is public land and therefore it is pristine.

We are glad that you enjoyed the breakfast, your comment regarding the waffles and pancakes has been noted and shared with the chef to ensure they are being served hot at all time.

Furthermore, we hope that the staff was found to be friendly and that the different swimming pools and direct beach access were to your liking.

Stayed here with 2 other couples. Stunning location. Rooms, everything you need and kept spotless. Faultless food, breakfast is plentiful. 5 star restaurant. Staff can't do enough, shout out to Billy and Sara the entertainment team, Beer the pool bar manager and his staff. Pond the waiter always a smile on his face, so friendly. The only negative is the price of drinks but we purchased a bonanza package, brought 50,000baht and got 30,000 baht free, which compensated for the prices, well worth taking out. Would highly recommend this hotel and would visit again.

This is a very beautiful hotel situated on its own just a quick drive into the local town or patong. The service however was not 5 star at all. We had to request cleaning for the room or towels and replacement toiletries on a number of occasions. Apart from one staff Mr OH who was so lovely helpful and hospitable the rest of the breakfast staff were not helpful or friendly. I’m not usually one to complain or take it with a pinch of salt what negative reviews say but must admit the reviews about service were correct. Burnt rubber fried eggs sat on the side of the stove looking like they were ready for the bin is what I was about to be given when I asked for fried eggs. When I said could I have fresh ones please as she was stood there in front of cooker doing nothing she rolled her eyes and made me two making me feel awkward. In general breakfast were not nice. Communication was a great problem with reception and staff at breakfast and dinner. No one helped with local taxis only offered extortionate hotel taxis or told us to walk out to main roads and fine one.

No one told any information about free shuttle busses or general information about services when we arrived we only found this out from one of the night drivers half way into our stay.

In a nutshell lovely hotel we had a pool in ours but the management team just need to focus on the staff some more.

On the other hand, we are glad to read that the service from Mr. Oh was found to be lovely.

The hotel provides a taxi service with guaranteed quality and insurance. The hotel has no affiliation with the taxis from outside. However, we do not stop our guests from using different ways to order other transportation from outside the resort (e.g. by mobile application).
