My husband and I spent the first half of our honeymoon at this amazing resort. The beautiful facilities are tucked away in the quiet, tropical and lush resort. We were blown away not only by how beautiful our room/the resort was, but the staff. The staff was extremely kind and helpful- going above and beyond in every aspect. 2 bedroom family pool villa consists of 2 separate bedrooms villa and another separate villa for living/dining/spa. Private pool is one of the largest private pool in Phuket and great for young kids. Personal butler for villa is brilliant and the service and follow up is just what luxury is all about. Resort grounds are very beautiful and there's a swag-feel on the entire property ... only complain : maybe better lightings around the resort and in rooms

We stayed for 6 nights at The Slate and had one of the best & memorable holidays. This hotel has a lot of character and I love the edgy design. Our family suite is roomy and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. There is a cute monitor lizard (we called it Mr. Lizzy) who roams around and we are always thrilled to bump into him.
Highlight for us is the food and restaurants - from Tin Mine to Black Ginger to Underground cafe to even the in-room dining - everything hits the right spot for us.
The other highlight is the Kids' club - there were many interesting activities and Ms Pui at the Kids' club is always so kind, bubbly and taking the extra mile to ensure the kids had fun and stayed safe. My kids love her.
We love the fantastic service from The Slate family - very accommodating and going above and beyond.
Only slight peeve is the amount of mosquitoes (and bites) here but I guess this is just because of the current rainy season.
Not a hotel to be missed.

The hotel has a unique design and the atmosphere is very special.
Staff goes beyond expectations with a personal touch and friendliness.
We had the Suite with Private Pool, room is luxurious but cosy as well with a lot of space and a nice private outdoor area.

It was a perfect stay at the Slate. The staffmembers are very friendly and helpfull they provide great services. I stayed in the Slate for business purposes and also for a short holiday. I recomand this hotel not only for nice relaxing holidays but also for big meetings etc...
