The Slate
Beautiful resort! Very clean, we had the private pool suite and it was awesome. Staff is friendly and prompt. Delicious food, worth every penny! Spa has great packages as well. The resort location is perfect for laid back, somewhat lazy travelers like ourselves. It’s close to the airport and close to other local areas for exploring. Beach access was perfect for us, 3 min walk from our room, we went down every night for the sunsets, local restaurants, bars and shopping. Highly recommend this resort! Great for the value!! Little touches to details throughout the property did not go unnoticed.

This was our third stay at The Slate and it was great to be back post Covid and find the hotel as good, if not even better than before.
We stayed in 4 highly rated properties in Phuket during our 3 week holiday and if we had to choose just one to return to, it'd be The Slate where we had 8 nights in a spacious and comfortable Pear Bed Suite.
We love everything about the hotel. Check-in was welcoming and smooth, as returning guests we were surprised by the delivery of a chilled bottle of champagne to our room.
Breakfasts are truly incredible, the choices are huge and the service of the wonderful Sue and her team, impeccable.
Love the pools, specially the two adult pools which never seem to be too crowded. Pool staff are very attentive, offering chilled water and fruit regularly.
Hotel has plenty of dining options including the very special, atmospheric Black Ginger.
We love that the Hotel is right on Nai Yang Beach, which is great for a swim or a sunset wander. The little village has lots of good local family run restaurants. It was a real treat to sit, toes in sand and have a beer or two watching the sunset followed by a delicious authentic very tasty Thai meal.
The Slate offers up everything I could possibly want from a resort hotel and is highly recommended.

We spent two days at The Slate before travelling out to Koh yao noi. This hotel is wonderful and we would recommend it highly.
The greeting and introduction were very thorough and made us feel very special. We were given a hand made flower bracelet along with cool towels and a drink on arrival. Shown to our room (Pool studio) which was stunning and immaculate.
We ate at the Tin Mine the first night at the bbq buffet. Chose our own seafood and steak to be cooked fresh. Yes. Not 'cheap', but to be expected for such luxury.
Second night we ate at Black Ginger which was stunning! Food delicious!
The pools were beautiful, gardens well kept.
Had a walk out to the beach. Beach was cleN and not too busy. We feel the bars and shops there will have been impacted badly during Covid and it was very sad to see some closed down. Not once were we hassled by anybody.
Would highly recommend The Slate. Writing this from another hotel which is also beautiful, but actually considering going back to The Slate and checking out of here early!

We spent four excelent nights in a suite with swimming pool. Amazing room and bed. Also fantastic the Thai Restaurant and the breakfast. All staff were really nice. All the resort is very confortable, pretty vegetation and in front of the beach
