SUNSETS !!!

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 6 Nov 2024
“Old Keys” facade on otherwise undeveloped stretch of Hywy 1. Modern plantation style buildings behind. Every room (ours spacious and comfy) opening to well tended bayside view with ample rockers, hammocks and chaise lounges. SUNSETS !!! Nicely heated pool. Family friendly. They’ve hit the sweet spot for comfort, several notches above most motor lodges without any snooty resort aspirations.

Very quiet and quaint place nestled off the beaten path. Beautiful rooms with everything you need. Patios overlooking the bay for watching Beautiful sunsets at night and relaxing with your morning coffee. Great restaurant on the grounds too. Can't wait to go back!

Room tip: Some smoking on the balconies next to us was the only downside but not a big deal.

Lime Tree Bay Resort is quiet and a great place to stay. We were only there for one night, but it was everything advertised! We will definitely stay there again.
The restaurant next door was great. The staff was great. Food was great too.
Room was clean and the view was incredible...October offers a great sunset view!!

Perfect location with dedicated, safe parking space. Relaxed, clean and well kept property. Mostly adults. A few families. Stunning sunset views. Nice pool to float in. Little market across the street for random necessities and snacks.
The bed was super comfy. We slept great! Room had small fridge, microwave and a small food/drink setup. Coffee and tea. But the office has a better coffeemaker so I grabbed that every day. There’s a safe, little closet and also a TV.
Honorable mention nearby: BREAKFAST AT WOODEN SPOON on Marshal key.
The bar and grill at the Lime Tree has mellow vibe and bar food. Nice bartenders and nice patrons.
The Lime Tree Bay Resort was smack in the middle between the mainland and Key West. It was ideal for day trips. They also have kayaks and paddle boards and bikes to borrow…. Great place to call home while we were there.

Room tip: Arrive early for a stunning drive down. We flew in to Miami late and drove down in the dark missing all the incredible views the first day.

The heated pool is beautiful and overlooks the water and the sunsets are fabulous. The cable was not working so no TV during most of our stay but that's the Keys in hurricane season. The restaurant/bar on site was fun and the waitresses and bartenders were attentive.

Room tip: Long Key is 15 minutes from most restaurants so it's a bit of a drive to anywhere.

We stayed in one of the beach front suites.
Fantastic views and very peaceful.
Accommodation very clean and perfect for couples.
Great facilities in the room giving you the option to cook in if preferred.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Ask and you get, even a kettle, lovely reception lady bought her own in for me…. Thank you.
Breakfast basic but good if you get as takeaway and have back at your room with the beautiful views.
Sunset views stunning.
Would recommend staying here. We stayed for 5 nights which was perfect.
Thanks to all the staff who made our stay enjoyable.

Room tip: You need a car to explore local area. 5 nights about right length of stay as you do need to drive to all locations.
