Take your time and make sure to go to the lower level and poke your head into the area where the glass spilled out of the original furnace.

We learned a lot about glass-making in Italy by taking this tour, plus the views from the terrace beside the museum are quite lovely.

The Museo del Vetro was very interesting. The tour of the museum included showing where the glass was melted, old glass that still remains and many of the pieces of glass. Also, at the end of the tour there is beautiful jewelry made in the factory that is available to purchase. Over all this tour was very nice addition to our trip and I would highly recommend that you visit the Museo del Vetro during your trip to Piegaro.
