After a long day on an island-hopping cruise we were due for some tasty meals on the Nidri boulevard. Thankfully we decided to walk into Symposium because it would deliver our best food experience of the entire trip. The shrimp cocktail was crisp and fresh and not too filled with oil, mayonnaise or salad. The beef was pricy but you can't put a price on good beef, something I was hoping for when during ordering I was asked how I wanted it cooked (other Lefkada restaurants serving beef take note!).It was delivered to our table covered in a dark, thick pepper sauce and served medium rare exactly as requested. It was bigger than I had hoped for and delicious every bite I took. We stayed a while for some more wine/ouzo and tipped generously because you gotta reward people who do their job well.

Called into this restaurant on the harbour. It's the end of season so few tourists around and the restaurants still open are keen to attract visitors. Our group of 5 plus another couple were the only customers. We were welcomed by the owner. We ordered starters only as it's usually a good test. Service was prompt and the traditional Greek food was good. The prawn sakanaki was excellent. However the atmosphere was dull. The background music was poor (it possibly was just radio). The toilet facilities were poor. A little sprucing up would make a difference.

They don't know nothing about Italian cousine. Pizza was without tomato sauce, smell was disgusting too and looked like a bread . Don't recomend!

We were 4 persons and we left there with the thought never to come back there. I ordered a tomato soup which tasted like something took out of a cheap metal tin and put in a plate, horrible taste. Also I got a ''frappe'' which was a cold drink with the taste of water aromated with the cheapest coffee ever, this is I swear the worst coffee I ever tasted. I asked for some sugar and the owner that took the order said no need I am sweet enough, ha ha nice joke until I realised that insisting on some sugar took around 15 minutes and insistences on 2 persons to get me please some sugar so I can drink that, or at least try to. My sister ordered rice which she could not eat, I tried it as well but it was like a hospitall food, no taste and undercooked. We also ordered a gyros that was not so good, and a portion of see fruits, this was a a bit chewy, small quantity.
There were not so many people in the restaurant at that hour, it just started to become busy but still it took some time to get the drinks, there was a mixup, we got 2 beers altough we ordered just one and to conclude I do no recommend it. Promise never go back and hope this experience will help others not to have a bad experience. Good luck to them!
