This restaurant has a very nice surrounding and interesting concept. That's where it's end. The only one waiter can ignore you all the evening while being nice to the table next to you, the Chef is angry because you are not familiar with the concept and asking for assistance....the food was OK - absolutely not amazing or exceptional while the price is.
too expensive and not a good atmosphere (at least for some tables).

This restaurant caters for people who eat meat, fish, vegetarian or vegan food. We had an unplanned stay in Nydri due to a ferry cancellation and having seen the restaurant earlier decided to pop back for dinner. The lady who looks after front of house was very pleasant, we had a short wait for a table and whilst we waited were given a leaflet on their philosophy. Basically this was that you told them what sort of food you wanted and gave them a budget - so far so good, but no guidance was given as to what your budget should be. So we ordered drinks - the peach juice was lovely and the surroundings, whilst rustic you could tell someone had an eye for interior design - all good. Unfortunately, it all went a bit downhill once we met the chef - he marched up to the table and barked at us "do you eat everything", we told him what we liked, that was fine, then he barked at us "how much", "is that each", seemingly wanting us to up our budget, my other half tried to ask for guidance only to be told "you tell me your budget I'll come back". He went to the table behind us and repeated the process in the same unhelpful manner...the ladies on the table ended up increasing the budget.....I'm not sure if this is what he hopes to achieve by his manner. In the end, we guessed at a budget and what we got was just enough for two - a salad as a starter, some bread and two stew type main courses. The food was good - but his attitude spoilt the meal - we did consider paying for the drinks and leaving without ordering - such a shame to be made to feel so unwelcome. I suggest that you find some way of advising your guests as to what their budget needs to be depending on the type of food they're ordering and how many courses they'd hope to receive. That and send the chef on a course in hospitality/welcome. Does he feel he's too important to be pleasant to the people who visit his restaurant? Such a shame, this could have been so good.

We went here for our last night meal.
What can I say, lovely bohemian atmosphere, you are not given menus, you tell Vangelis the chef how much you want to pay,if you want fish or meat or both and he will present you with various delicious dishes with a nice gap in between them.
The service is second to none with the waitress being very attentive.
Anyone thinking of going here should try it, you won't be disappointed.

We paid 20 € per person. Everyone got to taste everything. Seafood, fish, veggies and beef was served. Best mussles we have ever tasted. Everyone loved the experience and will come back before going back home.
