Ooh I absolutely adore this place!
It’s a picturesque village, the Main Street looks like it’s from the lid of a biscuit tin or jigsaw, It’s gorgeous!

The bungalow is stunning! Beautifully decorated, super comfy rooms, en-suite bathrooms, and sun terrace. Good even on cooler evenings.
The breakfasts are out of this world, the facilities are 110%, the owners are fab.
Free WiFi, which our teenage daughter was desperate for!
Comfy, cosy, I don’t want to go home!!! :-(

Room tip: Don’t plan to eat during the day, you won’t need to. The breakfasts are absolutely amazing, filling and tasty.

Having booked this b&b through Booking.com, as part of our road trip holiday, we were warmly welcomed after a long day of driving and a visit to Monkey World. We actually arrived before our due time but that was no issue for Aliya, who welcomed us in and showed us our room for the next two nights, we had the large bedroom with the large en-suite wet room. The room fitted our needs perfectly and certainly outstripped the Premier Inn we had stayed in the night before. Would highly recommend Aliya & John’s b&b but you’ll need to book well in advance as it’s highly popular.

Room tip: Book early, take your time driving through the local lanes and follow google maps and not your sat nav

It does make us laugh when you read some of the reviews on here about little things like leaves not brushed up and hard to find. Is Woodlands Views perfect? No of course it isn't, neither is our house - but like our own place it is very much a home from home and a great place to relax and explore the south coast. We were warmly welcomed into a modern bungalow outside and a stately home inside, eclectically decorated with eastern trapping. Our bedroom was very spacious and spotlessly clean with our own little patio area to enjoy a cold GnT in the warm summer's evening, the facilities are definitely a notch above normal B&Bs. For breakfast we decided to opt for the full English for a little extra. Good grief what a breakfast it was with a fabulous colourful selection of fruit to follow! We had to skip lunch! Our hosts made us very welcome and very happy to discuss places to see as we were very much Dorset virgins, but we will definitely be back as three nights is not enough to explore this beautiful county. It's a good base to visit the coast which was about half an hour away. Durdle Door and Lulworth cove are definitely worth a visit, but a surprising little gem close by is Langham Estate, a vineyard which produces the best sparkling wine in the world (official). We paid £20 each for a tour and taste of three wines - and not short measures either with half a glass of each - just enough to stay within the law! Not cheap wine but we still went home with a few bottles and I can confirm it doesn't give you a headache. We also visited the village's one and only pub, which was a bit quiet due to covid but that didn't stop us having a good time. The landlord and locals were very friendly and the setting in the main street is beautiful. A ten minute downhill walk from Woodlands Views (and a 20 minute walk back up!) Thank you Aliya and John for for your time and effort in making our stay a wonderful one!

Room tip: Either a self catering lodge, large room with patio or large room with wet room

Lovely B&B situated in quiet little village but easily accessible to places such as Bournemouth Poole Wareham. The room was very nice with a comfy bed TV fridge coffee tea drinking chocolate, Aliyah is the perfect host the breakfast was superb sets you up for the day ample room for parking if you're thinking of visiting Dorset this is the place you want to stay there is a village pub just a few minutes walk away so if you don't want to travel one evening this is perfect.Highly recommended.
