This is a small Glamping site with erected Bell tents and a log cabin but also has a couple of pitches for the likes of us campers with our own tent. It was idyllic. We camped here in June for 5 nights and Ben and Laura made us feel so welcome it was like staying with family. The facilities included the use of a covered decking area with a kettle, microwave and use of some fridge space and comfy sofas. There is also a screen and projector, and one evening we sat and watched "The Goonies" dvd before gazing at the amazing unpolluted skies..... absolutely stunning. This is a real back to nature site with its surrounding woodland, we were lucky to watch a young deer come onto the site to graze, and hear the owls calling at night. If you are travelling through France, this is an ideal place to stop off to visit the north Dordgne.

Had a fantastic stay. Everything thought of. Back to nature but with a luxiours twist. Host that make sure you have everything you need. Fabulous location in northern Dordogne. Stayed in a Bell Tent, but a new retreat cabin in the woods was being built which I would be tempted to try next time

what a great experience. We had a 3 days stay in the beginning of may. A great tent with a fantastic bed and a wood burner. everything what is needed to camp is on the place. De hosts were extremely friendly, but with distance. The honesty shop and the space to relax was a very good invention. (forgive me my poor English: I'm Dutch). I wish everybody on holiday a stay on this campingsite.

Room Tip: If possible, take de tent with the jacuzi.

We recently visited with our 4 year old daughter and had a really lovely stay. The bell tent was big and spacious and the log burner kept us warm in the evenings. The bed was really comfy and the showers were great too. We also had a hot tub which our 4 year old loved.
Laura (the owner) did a bakery run each morning and we enjoyed delicious croissants and pan au chocolates each day! There are lots of outdoor games to play on site and a big screen and projector for evening family movies so plenty to keep little people entertained.

There is quite a bit to do locally (you need a car) Brantomne was really pretty with lots to do - a boat trip down the river or a visit to the caves or a walk around with ice cream!

Thank you again to the Pantry family for making our weekend so lovely, we hope to see you again soon. X

We stayed three nights at Belair le Camping over the May bank holiday and it was perfect. The campsite is so peaceful and when we arrived we were greeted by the lovely hosts. We could not fault the place, the belle tent was a great size (we had the 5m Luxe) and comes with everything you could need!
The hosts have though about everything. The experience is very personal (lovely little sign to greet you!) and they have this great social space that the whole campsite can enjoy.
This place really is a hidden treasure in the middle of the beautiful French countryside, and there is lot to see nearby! Highly recommend hiring bikes from the campsite and cycling to Brantome - beautiful town.
Could not recommend this place more - we will be going back, and next time heading for the tent with the hot tub!
