We didn't expect much before we arrived, but the room was fantastic: very large, big bathroom & shower, very quiet, awesome bed. Breakfast was over the top, and I highly recommend it. It might look like just another big hotel, but the rooms are fantastic!

A really tiring but good rideacross France took me here. I had a really friendly welcome and enjoyed my two days. The staff in the bar/restaurant were really lovely. Easy parking outside for the motorbike. The Gorges de St Georges were epic riding. Rode up to a couple of Cols, beautiful white horses at the top. Then on to Ax Les Thermes.

I had booked a mountain view room and the first I was given faced a concrete wall. A discussion at reception later had me carrying my bags upstairs to the third floor where there was a small balcony and a view of some trees across the road - there are no mountain views.
No big deal but the hotel room was spartan and the decor old and unappealing. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom OK if you do not mind plastic shower sheets.
The food and beverage was unexceptional except for the spring rolls which were terrific.
I stayed here two different nights. I think part of the problem is they are understaffed with family struggling with their no English and my poor French.
It is probably the best accommodation in Quillan so I should perhaps not be so critical.
