The food was amazing! We shared a starter of various breads, hams and cheese which was lovely. Their crisp pizza bread was delicious. I had a soft, roast pork with a reduction (delicious), one of the group had the beef stew (peppery and yum!); and the little one had the rabbit. The mains were €10-11 each : excellent value! We ordered a side of spinach and two lots of roast potatoes. There were two wines that you could order by the half litre and we got the chianti (apparently from the vineyard next door) which was smooth and and very drinkable. We shared a tiramisu between two of us - which was again delicious and very large. The set menu for €22 was extremely good value but looked like too much food for me. Of and the setting was gorgeous! The staff were worked off their feet as it was very busy but they were very pleasant. The woman who served us (short hair) was lovely.
