Description: Welcome to The Star Inn, Steyning The Star Inn dates back to the early 1700's, since that time the pub has grown in size but has maintained its old world charm. This lovely old Steyning pub offers a great family atmosphere, a great choice of real ales, ciders and lagers, along with an extensive wine list. The extensive menu consists of a superb choice of home made foods made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients . The Star Inn now hosts many events such as weekly quiz nights, curry nights, live music every Friday night and various other themed parties throughout the year. There are two beer gardens, one being waterside and one with a children's play area, which are ideal for families during the warmer months. The Star Inn is an ideal rest stop for hikers, cyclists and tourists alike who come to enjoy the wonderful countryside that Steyning has to offer. Come and visit The Star Inn and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, tasty food and great drinks. We look forward to welcoming you and your well behaved dogs on leads! We can provide wheelchair access for our less mobile customers as we have a portable ramp.

I visited this pub with my husband as I wanted to take him as I been here before and loved the setting and the olde pub feeling however it's was ruined by the dog who came out into the garden and dropped a present luckily we weren't eating at this point. Just wanted to point this out as this could put customers off if they are eating and children running in the garden.

After a wet and muddy hike we were warmly welcomed. They had reserved a table for us by a log fire. We were a party of 10 and we all wanted different meals, which were superb. We didn't have to wait too long, they all came out together and they were perfect. Excellent pub grub. They even suggested we could dry our wet clothes on the radiators. Good value too. Well done and we will go back. Thank you.

Lovely Oldy. worldly pub. Greeted warmly by barmaid. Nice comfy armchairs to relax in.
Looked at menu but decided to pass as looked very expensive. Had beer and a tea. Only choice of 2 ales as doombar was not available! Drinks were expensive and only got one small cup as opposed to pot of tea which one would normally get in other pubs.
Looking at the reviews the garden looks appealing but was too cold when we visited. We can appreciate that drinks would be expensive in a village pub but a pot of tea would have been more welcome!

Just held my Son's 18th birthday party at the Star Inn. Emma and the team were terrific hosts, very friendly & welcoming with an amazing hot buffet & good jukebox selection. They all helped make it such an easy event. Great location & plenty of space for everyone. Thank you so much x
