Hotel is clean, decent. Staff understandable and welcoming. Room basic but comfortable. Menu of the day for EUR 10 worth it. Has a small playing grounds for children on the outside, an asset for families travelling with children.More

Very easy Hotel to find, just off from the motorway. Friendly reception staff, checked in quickly. Lovely clean room looking out onto the motorway and the distance views beyond. Could not hear a sound from the Motorway and we slept really well. Minutes in the car to the centre of Burgos, without having to go on Motorway. Ate in the Hotel's restaurant, 3 course menu of the day with a choice of 5 starters, 5 mains and dessert including bread rolls and a bottle of very acceptable house wine between the two of us. Total bill for meal 21 Euros for the two of us! A second menu of the day was offered at 15.50 Euros each. Easy onward journey the next day to Santander to catch the ferry. To be honest we were so impressed with the excellent value we might just stop off on the return journey as it was such excellent value and break the trip to our villa in Southern Spain.

Stayed in Rey Arturo on a drive from UK to Southern Spain, room was large and clean, bed very comfortable, plenty of towels and toiletries, staff were exceptionally helpful and happily loaned a UK adaptor as mine was buried in a loaded car somewhere.
Breakfast was included in a very reasonable room rate and was a wide ranging continental breakfast served from 7.30 a.m. Plenty of choice.
Location of hotel is excellent and very close to motorway, less than a couple of minutes and whilst I could see the motorway from my window, virtually no motorway noise due to quality double glazing.
Room on 2nd floor, free parking, no complaints and would happily stay again

Hotel Rey Arturo is clean and close to Burgos. They have parking and comfortable rooms. I reserved just accommodation, but if You want breakfast need buy separated. Road between Burgos and hotel is secure, lighted but put attention on winter, may be frozen.

With the short days in December, we weren't planning to do any sight seeing in Burgos and chose this Hotel for convenience, and price. It was far better and more hotel like than many stops on the motorway. Parking was plentiful, and rooms were basic but adequate, warm and had reasonable wifi. We had dinner and breakfast, fairly unimaginative but the Spanish seemed to like the food. For a quick stop in winter on the way to or from the Ferry at Santander, this was a decent place.

We have used this hotel on numerous occasions, and booked it months ago for our return trip from Santander! We arrived today very tired, and where told that we couldn't stay as they had no water,funny that there were articulated loftiest r the cyclists that were staying. They changed us to another hotel despite complaining we were given instructions on how to reach this hotel, we were given the completely wrong directions and after one hour and a half returned to the hotel after much complaining and asking for our money back , they sent lady out of the office to show us the way,, she took us down all these back roads to a. Hotel we had stayed at previously and weren't happy with , it had no aircon and there was a fuss over our breakfast which we had booked!!!! I think that this hotel should hang its head in shame, as it is now fully booked why not tell truth!!!!!
