We were invited to this restaurant which really is in San Nicolo' outside of Ponte di Piave. Though it is a little tucked away, it is well worth a visit. There is ample parking across the street. Restaurant seems a little non committal on the outside but the inside.... absolutely welcoming! We were seated by a very cordial waiter at a beautifully set table by the window. We ordered samples of appetizers, one better than the other. Burrata, carpaccio, asparagus but best of all was the goose breast. We made the mistake and ordered 'secondi' at the time we ordered the 'antipasti'. Mistake, because the portions were of such dimensions that just the first course would have been enough. Our waiter recommended prosecco (Foss Marai!) to go with the appetizers and then a good bottle of Raboso with the main course.
First time we've been here but definitely not the last one.
