Well maintained with a lovely park just at the entrance. Is nice for a morning stroll. You get to see several local attractions all within walking distance from one another, ideal for "lazy" tourists.
The ruins of the castello Adelaide are adjacent and the amphitheatre are not too far away.

While I didn't make the drive up to Susa just to see this arch, I think I would. Why not? It isn't like most people have a Roman arch in their backyards and this one, from what I could tell, is in excellent shape considering it was built around 8 B.C. There is also a piece of acqueduct, built around 370 A.D., right behind it. I found it to be a lovely walk up from the main square, not too difficult, through a small park. I believe anyone could do the walk as there is a section of paved road which goes right up to the arch (and which continues on but only for residents). I found the contrast of the Roman arch within view of the Alps to be really interesting and unexpected. Susa is a beautiful little town. I recommend it on a nice day.

Susa is a very pretty place and worth a walk around if you have time to stop. Also visit Bella Nopli for lunch if you can as it's great food there.

Interesting Roman monument on a great walk (ok for most) which ended in a Roman amphitheatre. Susa a gem with easy access to Turin and lots of beautiful scenery

This monument has a lot of history and it represents the peace between Romans and the local tribes... 2000 years of history!

At the opposite, the monument is not well advertised.
