We went to Ibiza for one night because we booked a table in the Adriá restaurant. I booked a gardenview Junior suite. The room consisted in 2 narrow rooms with a small corridor. it was on the first floor, and the garden view consisted in "nice" views of the road that leads to Ibiza. Poorly isolated, we could barely sleep because of the constant traffic in the Ibiza nightlife.
Mixed feelings regarding the staff. Bellmen nice, helpful and attentive. The same opinion regarding workers of the swimming pool and bar. Reception poor service: they have the common habit of many workers of luxury hotels that they think they own the hotel, and treat customers with displicency and a stiff upper lip. Even bad manners when asking some queries through the internal phone. Frontdesk manager assistant polite and trying to help (the only one I would rate possitively in the reception...)
Regarding restaurant I could not go to Nobu because it is only opened during the time, but I suppose that it is a good as all the others around the world. The mexican restaurant accoding to my daughters good food and good atmosphere. Breakfast in Celicioso was really good, but from the reception they were "pressing me to go to the buffet....

We would like to thank you firstly for choosing to stay with us at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay.

We appreciate the time it takes to share your feedback and take into account every comment. We would like to apologise that our room did not meet your expecations. Our hotel is nestled in between the protected lands of Ses Feixes and the Mediterranean sea. It is a rather tranquil setting and thus saddened to hear that your sleep was disrupted.

We are happy to know that you found our staff happy and attentive. With regards to reception we humbly apologise, we do not condone any attitude other than absolute humility, great work ethic and passion to attend to our guests needs.

We do hope you visit us again soon.

Really poor service. Receptionist did not even ask us why we were not satisfied. Expensive and bad quality breakfast with stale croissants and no Spanish food. Everything has a surcharge including the kids club even if I was with our son supervising him.

Thank you for sharing with us your experience at Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay.

We are sorry that our receptionist did not check up on you. Our guests´ comfort is always at the forefront of everything we do.

Breakfast is served at our Spanish Mediterranean Restaurant Chambao.
All ingredients are fresh and there is an eclectic offering of fruits, nuts, cereals, freshly, baked bread of various varieties, pastries and cakes, and of course a hot station with full breakfast including delicious comb honey.

As for our kids club, if you wish to have your children enjoy a fun yet educational day with our professional child-minders for the day there is a charge (as with our offerings at the resort like our restaurants, spa and John Frieda). My favourite classes are the DJ workshops and sushi making classes at Nobu restaurant which are very popular!

We hope you do give us a chance with the prospect of providing you the ultimate Ibiza Bay experience.

Well, we have been back a month and have really taken some time to think the experience through.
It’s not 5 Star.
We had two meetings with the GM to discuss our dissatisfaction.
Poor Customer Care; the management don’t appear to walk the hotel with their team checking the place out, they should, otherwise how can they keep it to the standard they market it as? It’s supposed to be 5 Star for goodness sake, but they seem oblivious to quality issues.
• Toilets out of order from the Tuesday when we arrived - and the management didn’t appear to know and certainly hadn’t dealt with until we complained on the Sunday night.
• Rubbish clearance not up to speed in the hotel corridors and around the loungers. Empty beer bottles and cigarette butts were there for several days - until we pointed it out.
• Waiters in the Nobu Restaurant that send Ladies to the Gents Toilets and Men to the Ladies Toilets.
• Housekeepers Working so hard they have to work into the small hours - we returned to our room at 01:15 to find the Maid changing our bedding!
• The Hotel is ‘open’ to non-residents. If I’m paying top price for a 5 Star Hotel, I don’t want to be sharing the Bar and sun loungers / Pool with non residents....
• The Hotel suffers some damage, I get that, but stains on carpets and walls need addressing as a constant cycle of maintenance / repair.
• The bedside table drawer handle was broken from the day of our check in, to the day of our check out.
• The Air conditioning Grille in our room was covered in black mould - for our entire stay.
• There is a mosquito problem, but unfortunately where people have squashed them on the ceiling / wall, Maintenance should be cleaning the dead body and or painting them out - before we check in, not leaving them there - there were loads of dead mosquitos squashed on the walls / ceilings. Ugh.
• If you’re thirsty, whilst one expects drinks in 5 Star to be expensive, £10 for a bottle of water! It’s just Water! It should be complimentary.

A shame and disappointment. We really hoped as it was Nobu Brand, it would have been great. Unfortunately it’s just not there. They blame the Staff saying standards are tricky to maintain on Ibiza due to not getting adequate Staff as locals can’t afford accommodation. Then they should be putting the Staff up in accommodation units. Then they can guarantee standards as Staff would appreciate the accommodation package. No point in blaming the Staff if you’re not prepared to look after them....
Ah well, I’ll just continue going to The One and Only in Dubai, that is 5 Star and they know how to run a hotel and look after guests AND Staff....

We are very disappointed to learn that we did not meet your expectations sincerely apologise that the quality of accommodation was less than satisfactory. Please rest assured that our management including Executive Housekeeper and Maintenance manager was informed of your complaints and it was immediately rectified.

Our hotel has 2 pools, 3 restaurants (Nobu, Peyotito & Chambao), our gluten-free café Celicioso, spa by Six Senses, kids club, 2 boutiques and John Frieda Hair salon which is indeed open for external guests to reserve bookings. At Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay proudly encourage ourselves to be open and humble with an accompanied touch of luxury and fun element. We invite all to enjoy a multi-sensory experience and we apologize that this philosophy was not to your satisfaction.

We take every constructive criticism into account in order to better the Ibiza Bay experience. It is with regret that you mention scapegoating employees as this is definitely not on par with our Nobu Hotels mission statement.

You´ll be happy to know that as you mentioned, we own 44 apartment units near our hotel so we could bring our best employees from around the world. We are the only Hotel in Eivissa that has bought this quantity of modern housing in close proximity to the hotel for so many wonderful workers.

We do hope to welcome you again in the future with the prospect of providing you the best Ibiza Bay experience.

We stayed for 7 days in a deluxe sea view room. Room was very nice but very narrow with a small balcony. Unfortunately we were directly above Nobu restaurant overlooking the main pool and music played until approx 1am so if you like your peace and quiet ask for a room overlooking the family pool instead.

We were very fortunate to get a good deal on the room including breakfast so we were happy with the experience provided. If you spend big bucks for a suite I think you would be disappointed. There are far nicer hotels that truly are 5 stars that I would spend my money on. Room cleaning was iffy, pool service very slow and no water provided, decor looking shabby already especially in the lifts & carpets in the hallways, turn down service non existent and as per previous posts we had problems with the tv & shower.

If you really want to feel special and have a true 5 star experience this isn't the hotel for you. If you want a nice relaxing hotel with pleasant staff & good food & you can negotiate a good deal I'd say go and have a good time - we did!!

We were a group of 18 people at the hotel and were very impressed with the quality levels of the service and staff. They were prompt in providing to all our needs.

The restaurant were great and the pool service excellent
