I had originally planned to stay for 3 nights but reduced my booking to just the 1 night after reading reviews. Luckily I did.
The hostel itself is really cool, the bookshelf area is very pretty and relaxed. However the bed was a problem. I was put on a top bunk, and there was a load of insulation padding and pipes and stuff above the bed that actually hung down into the pod space, it was just covered with some black material. This made the pod very cramped, there was no room to sit up I literally had to commando crawl into the bed it wasn’t great. The mattress was also very thin so not too comfy, and you have to put the sheets on yourself (then take them off too when you leave)- and in such a confined, cramped space this was a nightmare.
There is space beneath the bookshelp to put your luggage. I didn’t use the showers as I was only there for one night. Bathroom was nice enough though.
The bar/reception area is very small but quirky, but they only take credit card - no cash.
Overall it is a really cool setting to take a photo in and the idea of sleeping in a bookshelf is cool. But once the novelty wears off the bed itself and the confined pod is not nice at all. I wouldn’t stay again. More
