It is important to bear in mind that an Agriturismo is bound to be a little rustic and not like a hotel.but even so this one failed some of the basics.
The hotel is at the end of an 800m narrow and winding road (you will think you have gone wrong when you start driving it.) and is the highest building up the slope of Vesuvius at that point. This means that I would not recommend it to anyone who does not have a car with them and larger cars are going to have trouble negotiating the path especially if you are scared of scratching the hire car.
The rooms are pleasant enough, generally clean and pretty well maintained. A mixture of modern (Ikea) furniture and fittings with some older traditional pieces. A small balcony offers stunning views across the bay of Naples.
The lady who "looked after us" for most of the stay seemed to be overworked, tired and uninterested. It was not a communication problem - one of us spoke good Italian - and we were very friendly and careful not to be pushy. Even so breakfast was hardly the "buffet" advertised - tea or coffee was only offered on one morning, croissants were microwaved and uncooked, pre sliced cheese and soggy boiled ham with prepacked "french toast" and long life bread. You eat it rather than go hungry but end up looking for a café as soon as you reach civilisation.
There was constant building work going on. Starting early morning each day and going on around us at breakfast. This included work on the toilets with the smell that you need not try and imagine less than 5m from our table.
Functions on two of the nights we were there meant noise until 3 or 4 am with no doors between the function space and our room doors. The Italian obsession with tobacco also meant the room constantly smelt of smoke either from guests, workers or indeed hotel staff.
We had read reviews before going that were a little negative and seemed to expect a hotel instead of an agriturismo. We were determined to be fair and not expect the earth. However a little peace, a member of staff who at least pretended to be interested and some coffee at breakfast would have made a world of difference.
Don't try and eat in the restaurant in the evening by the way (another reason you need a car). There is no choice - the food is simply supplied (begrudgingly at that) and the prices charged are excessive.
We really wanted to be nice about the place. Sadly it is a disaster.

Room tip: There are only four rooms. All much of a muchness.

We stayed around 12 days in this place and could enjoy every day. A marvellous view, wonderful people working, serving and cooking! At the end we invited friends to eat in the restaurant and it was concerning quality and quantity one of the best menus in Italy we ever had! All the sights are easy to reach and we are already excited for our next stay in May this year! The rooms are clean. The breakfast (for Germans ;-) ) could be a little deeper (fresh panini and so on..), but we were always asked if we had a wish. Only disadvantage: the way up the hill that allows only one car to pass. But with much fantasy also this was handled well by the accomodation. Fam. Schneider

From start to finish. Was booked in for 4 nights but just stayed for one. When we arrived there were several men standing around staring at us but no one acknowledged us. After about 15 minutes another man appeared and after short wait we were shown to our room which was small but ok.
It was our wedding anniversary and they had put prosecco and biscuits in room as my husband had requested but when we went on to the terrace to sit and drink the prosecco the balcony table had a nasty dirty paper tablecloth.
Seems to be a very half hearted attempt at running a B&B. Could go on but suffice it to say just wanted to leave almost as soon as we arrived.
Fantastic views though!

If you are going to Pompei, Ercolano and Vesuvius this is the
place to stay! A vineyard setting on the slopes of Vesuvius! Amazing views, great staff very friendly and willing to help you in any way. It is a bit hard to find, but worth the effort up the very narrow farm road to the top! Much better than other B & B's in questionable neighborhoods. Highly recommend this gem!

Room tip: All rooms have amazing views and balcony!
