I was looking for a special place by the sea for a surprise anniversary weekend. Agulhas Country Lodge was a perfect selection!! Set in a private location overlooking the sea, the first impression was favorable due to the old-style lodge feeling and warm welcome we received. This lodge clearly has character and many nice touches! I was even more impressed by the quality of the evening dinner in front of the fireplace. They obviously have a top quality chef. The fish fillet was perfect, and so were the vegetables and the cheesecake. Great service as well! Highly recommend this place, and don't miss dinner!!

The position of Agulhas Country Lodge with the unique seaview from nearly every room/balcony and the comfortable atmosphere make the stay in this lodge very nice. The most difficult thing was to identify which persons were staff and which one were guests.

On a previous visit down that way, we popped in for a coffee and decided we would stay here on our next trip.

We were not disappointed, we stayed on the 31st March 2018 had two double ( spacious ) bedrooms, with crisp white linen and very comfortable beds.

Both rooms had a balcony with fantastic views over the Indian Ocean.

The bathrooms had gels/creams/shampoo etc. ( large containers) my bathroom had a huge bath, and as Agulhas didn't have the same water restrictions as elsewhere, the bath was much appreciated.

The breakfast was delicious.

There is off street parking, which is always a plus. From ground level to bedroom it is quite a hike with steps/stairs. there may be a lift, we didn't require it and did not ask.

Myself and a friend stayed here for one night, 31st March 2018.

On a previous trip down that way, we popped into Agulhas Country Lodge for a coffee and decided we would stay next time we came back.

We booked two double bedrooms, we were not disappointed, the rooms were very spacious with crisp white linen. both rooms had a large balcony with fantastic views of the Indian Ocean. The bathrooms were spacious, and had oils/gels/shampoo and everything we needed, my bathroom had a huge bath, as there wasn't the same water restrictions as elsewhere, the bath was much appreciated.

There is off street parking, which is always a bonus.

There are a lot of steps/stairs from ground level to bedroom, as we are both quite fit, we were ok. ( there may be a lift, we didn't need it, therefore, didn't ask.

The breakfast was delicious.
