We flew into Rome late afternoon on a Friday. By the time we picked up our rental car and got on the autostrada it was after 7pm. I had seen the good reviews for this hotel so we decided to book it, as it is about an hour north of FCO.
Everything about the hotel was excellent. Checkin was a breeze; staff spoke excellent English (my Italian is almost non-existent) and they happily reconfigured one of our rooms from a king to 2 singles. Our rooms were spacious and good value. Bathrooms were very clean and the shower was strong and hot.
Given the late hour we decided to eat at the hotel's restaurant, which has a lovely terrace pool-side. All 4 of us enjoyed our selections. The food was fresh and delicious and the service from Roberto, our waiter, was very good. I'd recommend one of the local wines...the red from Sant Isadora (50% sangiovese).
We had a quick swim the next morning before breakfast (good buffet selection). Pool was fine. Checkout was expedited efficiently by Daniel.
Overall, as others have said, it's a great find. The only thing that I can think of that would be considered a negative is that it is beside a somewhat busy road. But we didn't have any issues with that.More
