31 Quarante, is absolutely beautiful!! This place is clean, bright, and spacious.
This is an end unit which makes the atmosphere private, and the view beautiful! The office personnel were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended!

The chalets are nice, comfortable and in great locations, that I will praise them for. However their policy of charging 10$ to refund my deposit money is unacceptable. And trying to get my money back was yet another story. Apparently there was problems to refund the money with my credit card provider, they did not bother to contact me and let me know of the problem, simply decided to keep my 750$ until I notice it. They ignore complaints and do not answer back. No matter how amazing their condos and chalets are, after going there several times for 2 years, the hassle and problems with their administration is simply not worth it. It became a frustrating, and very unpleasant experience. our trip was in mid february and I am still waiting for answers and my money back. Terrible!

Room tip: double check policies for late arrivals as if arrive when office is closed they charge extras.

Thank you for sharing your comments.

We hope that your stay at the cottage was pleasant, despite your disappointment with the deposit fees.

To clarify the situation, this charge is taken when there is an arrival outside our opening hours and our clients are aware of it because it is written in our documents.

For the security deposit, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact us if a security deposit has not been released.

Our relations with our clients are important and we aim for a trustworthy customer relationship. We are sorry to read those negatives comments following a mistake of repayment.

If you are interested in another experience with Chalets Alpins, we will be pleased to suggest you one of our 185 accommodations.

Best regards,

Direction of Chalets Alpins.

The service received prior to checking in and when I arrived was great. Very friendly and helpful. Being my first experience renting a chalet with family and friends, I was a little apprehensive but once all our group arrived, they were all impressed and excited to get the weekend going.

The location, on a hillside is impeccable, and very near to Quebec City, is convenient. It is very well equipped, all amenities are available. If you are missing something, a grocery store is conveniently located nearby. Only 2 bags of wood are made available at the beginning of your stay, which are gone by day one.

If anything negative, the chalet was a bit unclean. There was a cobweb on the window in the living room. There are some damages around the chalet like a big crack on the window in the living room, scratches to the floors, the armrest of the loveseat was loose. All of which I hope do not come back to haunt me when I get my refund because I know there were no damages incurred during our stay.

Overall, the stay at the chalet was great and our party was happy and relaxed. Enjoyed a couple of great meals, including a BBQ supper. Enjoyed playing pool and the hot tub! The proximity of the city was convenient, managed to visit Old Quebec on a beautiful, sunny day.

I recommend for those family/friends weekend getaways!

We decided to book a last minute summer vacation to Quebec City and quickly discovered that there was limited availability for our family of three and the rooms were very expensive. Instead, we found a lovely condo rental through Les Chalets Alpins by heading 25 minutes out of the city to the Stoneham ski hill area where it's off-season in the summer time and you get great value for your money. Our 1-bedroom condo was located at 620 Chemin du Hibou (Unit #316), right at the base of the ski hill, and was the perfect home base to visit Quebec City. The condo has been completely updated and has a chic modern-rustic feel (the photos really do represent what the condo looks like). It's stunning! Our teenaged daughter slept on the pull out leather sofa in the living room and said it was very comfortable. The fully-equipped kitchen (just lacked a dishwasher) was perfect for preparing breakfasts and a few dinners. There is an IGA grocery store just a few minutes down the road if you need to pick up a few groceries or prepared meals. There is also a small strip mall less than five minutes away that has a lovely bakery, Subway and Tim Hortons. The restaurant at the base of the ski hill called le Feu Follet was open for meals but we didn't dine there even though it was just a minute walk from our condo. It is a quiet area in the summer time, but we knew that beforehand and weren't disappointed. There is no quaint downtown village area with shops in Stoneham, and you need to check the local restaurants' hours if you're planning on dining out as some have limited hours during the off season. The condo was a very peaceful place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing in the city -- definitely a great, budget-friendly alternative to staying in the city.

The chalet was brand new and furnished by a designer. Beautiful furniture and nicely decorated. Full kitchen as you say it was your home. What ever you needed you could find for cooking and serving. Full kitchen appliances and dishes. Bedrooms was full furnished and gorgeous design also comfortable and at the same time practical. Big enough closet and drawers. Clean towels and sheets. Two full washroom and one half was good enough for a number of guests. Clean and well serviced with towels and toilet papers also laundry room had washer and dryer. The view is spectacular and breathtaking in the middle of mountain just 25 minutes from Quebec City. Our family loved it. We enjoyed our stay. We loved their service and they've been there when ever we needed.

Room tip: Look at the pictures you can see exactly the chalet you will have. choose the right size for number of people to stay comfortable.
