We booked 3 rooms in this hotel. Rooms were smelly and need lots of work. Very low light in the rooms. This hotel really need up-gradation. Staff is really friendly and I gave one extra star because of staff. They are really helpful.
We booked one room at the price of around Rs 3500 per night which is very high for this kind of property.As per the rooms, price should not more then Rs.1500 per night. I would not recommend this hotel for this kind of price.
Nice hotel for family, I came here with my wife and my brother's family... Very supportive staff.. food is nice. This hotel has own parking place and very near to laxman jhula. All visiting destination are very close from this place. We enjoyed a lot in rishikesh. Thank

Location: Perfect, near Lakshman Jhula and Jumpin Heights booking office from where most of the activities (Rafting, bungy, etc) can be done.
Food: Awesome. Tasty.
Staff : co-operative
All in all best place to stay in Rishikesh @ this rate.
I stayed at Hotel The Shivaay on 16th Nov. It is very near to Laxman Zula. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Food quality was good. Most important thing is all staff members are very helpful and cooperative. Gift of Ganga Jal, while checking out, was heart touching gift.
The best thing in the hotel is the staff. Very helpful, friendly and smiling. Give a good feeling. The rooms are clean and good. The hotel is near laxman jula but quite.
I stayed there for 6 days. Harsh the manager and the staff also kept my things when i left for 2 days and helped me with a texi.
