The views are breathtaking and the hotel building is incredible, when we arrived at the room we released we never had a bath even though I booked the king room which included a bath, we called reception to see if we could be moved room, we waited around an hour and still no call back, we had to go down to reception to be told that most rooms have been refurbed and now only have showers and that they still have to “update the website” I thought this was poor.

The outdoor pool and facilities are amazing, the outdoor pool with the view really made it for us, we both had massages done on the second day, massage was okay, we sat in the relaxation room afterwards all we could hear was the spa therapists talking and gossiping, I thought this was really unprofessional.

The food was lovely, the menu is quite restricted but everything we had was done to a high standard. Service is very very slow, they seem really short staffed, sometimes we were waiting 20 mins on drinks arriving. We also requested fresh towels and toilet roll which we waited nearly 2 hours on to which we resorted to the local supermarket.

The service could definitely be better, and quicker, overall our stay was okay although I wouldn’t hurry back.

Staying here at present as a birthday get away. Lovely touch in the room with choc plate and fudge, really thoughtful. We took advantage of an early good deal with booking.com deal but my advice would be to upgrade at least 2x.
First room view was of a wall, we upgraded but to a ground floor room with view of cars outside the window. Upstairs someone walks about constantly and the floor creaks!! Room interior is nice though. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, food good and staff very pleasant and attentive.
Choose a room on an upper floor, ask for a view but for that you will pay a premium.

We visited the spa and had the most amazingly delicious afternoon tea as a mini hen!
Wanted to give a special mention to Lauren on spa reception who went out of her way to provide such a helpful booking experience and very warm welcome on arrival. It made me (and my friends) feel so special! And the congratulations chocolates were so thoughtful.
There was also a really helpful gentleman who took photos for us, pressed the bubbles button and made us laugh and smile.
Thank you to everyone - you really chilled us out pre-wedding and I will definitely be booking again xxxx

Lovely hotel and spa facilities. Stayed for 2 nights, all areas from restaurant to spa facilities were great - the outdoor pool is amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would visit again. The chef catered well to our vegetarian diet - really enjoyed the meals.

We have been delighted to read your 5 star review from your 2 day stay with us. Such feedback is very encouraging for our entire team who are continually working very hard to implement Government legislation.

We do hope to welcome you back to Gleddoch in the near future.

Would not return again. Appearance and facilities was lovely. Long wait for check-in when we arrived and not a lot of information/ direction around the hotel. Dinner was a nightmare to get as there is zero communication between staff. Restaurant was fully booked and took 5 attempts to get a menu for room service as QR code wasn’t working (after 3 different ones+ having to go down to reception). Then we get given a cocktail menu, then we finally get given a food menu after the 5th attempt. But the member of staff advised us we had to order before 7:30pm! We called to order food at 7:15 for the kitchen stuff member on the phone to tell us it’s after 7:30...shambles! Food came and forgot most of our sides. Breakfast was disappointing as well, not freshly cooked. Tasted like prepared hot plates. Overall, was extremely looking forward to this stay but left disappointed. Pretty standard wouldn’t go for a special occasion as we did do, not worth £175 a night.
