Everything was wonderful during our stay. First, we were upgraded for a regular guest room to a one bedroom suite with a den. Service was fantastic, and all the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. All staff is COVID-19 careful and vigilant.

Courtenay has the skills of a ninja, lightening fast in her service and even quicker razed-sharp wit. Connecting with others in the last 18 months has been limited for many of us so enjoying laughs with our server made for an even more enjoyable evening. The food was great too!

Love love love that there is a floor for pets! Our dog was able to come with us on our 4 night trip which was really special. Thank you to the hotel staff who were so accommodating and attentive to the needs of my family. Service was so friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Overall our stay was great. Our room was clean and most of the staff was fantastic. As a Marriott Titanium Elite Member there were some perks, although we were unable to use our suite upgrades for this trip which was disappointing. Having to book a pool time daily was a bit of a challenge. Most of the good time slots seemed to be gone quickly every day and many people not showing up for appointments was disappointing. Breakfast vouchers and the complimentary gift were a nice touch. Although not the fault of the hotel, everything seemed to be an additional charge. Including a visit to the private beach which was nice but not worth $26 a person. It felt like we were constantly paying out additional money for every little thing. The staff was great - even when the entire building was evacuated for a fire alarm - they came around with bottles of water etc. and were genuinely concerned. I would likely stay here again when Covid restrictions ease up - and we can enjoy all the hotel
Has to offer. They are absolutely doing the best they can with the rules.

I love Marriott / Westin first off and am a Bonvoy elite member. Staff was friendly at welcome and check-in was ok. Car park area underground a little dark if I was there myself but Iwasn’t so ok. Room was clean and felt comfortable but for the $$, I’ve stayed at nicer Westins. Lots of nasty stains in main hallways and sofa bed in room was virtually unusable as the whole couch, when folded up, tilted forward and you wanted to roll out onto the floor. This place needs an update :(
Also received breakkie vouchers at check in at the only onsite hotel restaurant which was great. But no one told us we needed resos for breakfast because the restaurant was understaffed. We noted that no one told us this at check-in and was told “our company’s are separate so they don’t know we are understaffed”. Ironically the restaurant host desk is within 20 feet and direct view of the check-in. Shouldn’t be my problem that the two companies don’t talk to each other. We peaced out and went to the Village for a nice breakfast. That experience kind of made us decide to wait for a good while til we come back to this Westin. Too bad cause the beds and shower are great.

Room tip: Avoid pool facing rooms - crazy loud with kids screaming til about 11 pm, if that matters
