Mitsui Garden Hotel Kasiwa-no-ha is very cozy and comfortable, just 100 meters from Kasiwa-no-ha campus station. It has good conference rooms, is right next to Tokyo University Kasiwa-no-ha, and at walking distance to Chiba University Research Station. Very close to fast food restaurant and shopping mall...nice and affordable..

This two year new hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Tsukuba Express Kashiwanoha-Campus station. You’e greeted with a garden wall as you enter into the lobby that immediately relaxes your senses. Across the plaza is the LaLaport Centre with supermarket, shops, eateries and movie theatres. Our room was an acceptable 16 sq.m. with all the modern conveniences such as electrical pants ironing unit, humidifier, safe (in bedside drawer), queen bed, TV with CNN English channel and ample electrical outlets. The heated mirror in the bathroom is a nice touch. The onset is located on the third floor with indoor and outdoor baths. There was also a steam/mist room which was different. Free lockers with keys are included. You do need to bring the wash cloth and towel provided in your room. Coin laundry and a small fitness centre is also located on the 3rd floor. Reception do speak some English so no problems with communications. WIFI is strong throughout the hotel. The lobby is very bright with ample seating.. Service is typically impeccable.

I stayed here for 4 nights on business on the recommendation of the company I was visiting in Kashiwa. I was expecting this hotel to be more Japanese-style, as in it would be small rooms and no shower, but this is a good size room (I had a double twin room as that was the only availability for my stay) and there was a bathroom for the room.

It is located right by the train station and quite easy to get to from Akihabara. It is a suburban area of Tokyo, but there is a large mall and places to eat right around the hotel, so there is some activity happening at night.

Check in was quick and friendly. The room was clean. Even though I had a private bathroom, you still had the option of the onsen if you wanted to try it. I took a rate that included breakfast in the restaurant in the lobby. It was quite good with both Japanese and a few western choices (but still more Japanese-style).

Overall, I can definitely recommend this hotel. It is new, clean and has courteous staff. I will definitely be staying here again if I am in the area.

First time at this hotel. Nice rooms, contemporary and friendly staff. We had the breakfast included option with both Western and Japanese offerings Good access to shopping mall, and Tsukuba Express. Small but usable exercise center. I opted to run outdoors as there are good pathways near hotel. Fun outdoor "farmers type market" on Sunday Mornings in the plaza in front of hotel. This was both a business and pleasure trip for my wife and I

The first impression was the room too small. But they have natural spa (Onsen) and outdoor grand-bath! Breakfast was really good, if you like authentic Japanese. Go to breakfast early to get a nice mousse cocktail for limited numbers. The gym was disappointing which had only three running machines and a abdo builder.
