Beautiful beach, although it was windy and had a relatively high surf on the day we visited. Bring sea socks if you have them -- you have to cross several feet of (smooth) rocks to get into the water. The beach is a little hard to find, and if you park in the lot, you have to dash across a train track (with a very fast train every few minutes) to get to the beach. Nonetheless, when you get there it is beautiful. Almost totally nudist, next to a nudist resort. If that's not your thing, don't go there.

We have just spent two weeks staying very close to this beach. Loved it last year and had to return. Lazy days laying on gorgeous clean soft sand, clear water and I also got to swim with the fish again. After a good swim there is a shower on the beach, a chance to rinse off before grabbing a beer and something to eat in the shade of the lovely decked out beach bar
But one extra treat I thought I would never see was a tornado touching down about a mile out at sea and I managed to get a photo or two.
I have always said once I have been to a place I would prefer to go somewhere else, but this place is worth another visit, I am sure we will go back again.just to see what other attractions crop up. Amazing!

Just one modest beach bar. Soft sand for 1,7 km. Beautiful, peaceful and lovely to swim in - water generally warm. The NE end has some rocks to dive in and watch the fish, otherwise sand below you as you swim. The SW end has natural woodland behind.
