Terrible experience, Could not even believe that the Thai Airways staff asked us to go for other AIRLINES and suggest not booking with THAI AIRWAYS for such small situations. (weight over 6kg, they charged and forced us to pay 10,672 INR), upon our request to talk with their senior team members, they called some other staff, i think the name was something like SANOOJ or something, he was even worse, so I was wondering if he really was their senior team member or not. To my understanding the senior person should be knowing how to handle the situations.
There could be some better way to handle the situation instead of just saying move to other airlines or leaving your extra luggage at the airport. worst customer service experience from the Thai airways staff at Delhi International Airport, could not believe it actually happened.
I am wondering how the company will survive if the staff say this to all of their passengers like this and all their esteemed guests consider moving to other airline options; They do not even think how they will get their salaries if all passengers started to move to some other airlines.
If any senior management staff of Thai Airways reading this, request them to provide more training to their concerned staff. We have travelled many times with Thai airways and never had any such experience like this before. For now we have started to consider other airlines options.
