Always late....even the first flight in the morning...they don't seem to have any respect for timing. It's not a bad airlines regarding the planes themselves and the staff ...but they have " 0' time management skills

I flew with TAP Portugal on September 3rd, 2023 (there was no option to click on that date) – in the Main Season. I had every unpleasant experience. I flew on a voucher because they refused to take me before and gave me that voucher. Well, the flight back to New York/Newark was on a Sunday. I called on Saturday and told them that I have an extra Suitcase. The Customer Service Agent said he would let them know. Obviously, he did not. I had a hard time at the Counter of the Check-in. They did not take Dollars and I did not have enough money in my bank account. The Manager said to me: "Either pay or stay". I did not have enough money to buy an extra ticket in the Main Season. So in the end I tried my Credit Card and it worked. I got overcharged. They took the smallest bag and charged it with over $100. Altogether I had to pay $373.97 for the luggage. On top of that my Suitcase and Bags were damaged, also the Zippers were broken, Items were missing, … It was not a nice experience at all. Also, the Customer Service is unfriendly and rude and lying! I had to go via Portugal and while standing in line I heard others saying „Never again“, they obviously had problems with Tap as well. So I say it too: Never again!

If I could give this airline 0 stars I would. Terrible service & care for paying customers. My luggage was damaged beyond repair on my flight home from Lisbon by the cabin crew. I was assured on site at the airport that I would be able to submit a claim to get reimbursed. I followed all instructions & I opened the in person & online claim. Any time I tried to get an update I was given vague information and assured that a supervisor would follow up. Never had any follow up or update. When I continued to reach out they confirmed they couldn’t process the claim as it was outside the timeline window. It wouldn’t have been outside the window if my claim was processed from the beginning. This should’ve been a simple resolution. Extremely disappointed with this airline and their customer service. I would advise to avoid checking in bags all together & pack as light as possible.

Flight: TР834

The the only thing you may get on this 3hrs fligh is a half glass of water, IF you are lucky enough to get it. Many of us were skipped with the service and did not get even that. They have avoided eye contact and just passed us as quick as they could. When I saw they are not comming back, I called for them and asked for a water, explaining that they did not offer to our row and several rows around us. They have said we had to ask for it when they passed. While they were clearly ignoring us. Anyway, they had to offer…it’s not our to ask and chase for them.

Flight attendant from a bussines class was so rude..she was yelling at me and arguing. I was next to the emergency exit door and had my jacket fixed tightly around my waist while she insisted that I put it on over my sholders. Because of my health problems with complicated bacterial infection I had to wear it the way I did and it would not make any obstacle in the case of emergency, while if I wore it HER way, I would not be able to open the emergency door as the jacked was too tight to raise my hand. Also it was too hot to put it on completely for me as I was runing to catch that flight (because their machine was broken and I lost like 30min) and I was close to a heat stroke. I fly often and it was not my first time on that seat and I never had this request before and such an agressive staff. Also her colleagues checked up on us twice before she did and they did not mention the way of wearing jackets at all. So when I tried to explain to her that I AM wearing the jacket, the way I have to she yelled: “What’s your problem!?”. It is unacceptable for a flight attendant to behave like that. I was perfectly nice and tried to respect all their request, but this was just nothing else than her personal frustration wish to harass somebody.
I was in shock. Everybody in an airplain looked at us. Should I explain my intimate problems infront of everybody like that, arguing and yelling? This was so embarrasing for me to put me in the middle of a scene. If she was nicer I would explain quietly and maybe ask seat switch since there were many empty ones.
But this way she humiliated me infront of everybody…like I dont feel bad enough with my problem, I felt even worse.

It was a terrible Business Class flight. No water. No welcome drink. Crew slept most of the way. Terrible service. Lounge in Boston was pathetic....more like a cafeteria with stale food.
