My wife and I checked our bags into Southwest after a week vacation in Cancun. Once we returned home, we realized we had around $400 worth of items stolen from our check luggage. The rest of my family had over $1000 worth of items stolen (clothes, hats, perfumes, colognes, etc).
DO NOT FLY ON SOUTHWEST AIRLINES! I don't care if you get your ticket for free, you couldn't pay me to fly Southwest again. Their customer service is horrendous, their employees are soulless human beings incapable of showing any type of empathy or compassion for the people who fly their airlines, or at least book a flight hoping to try to fly if they don't cancel or delay your flight so long you miss your connecting flight. Even if they know the flights not going to make the next city's flight they are still selling the flight online. They are not going to compensate you for your ride/rental car, hotel, or even give you a food voucher for hanging out in an airport for 7 to 8 hours to catch the next flight. You're expected to cover those expenses and show back up to the airport the next day in your same clothes to hopefully go through it all again. I'm flying to Las Vegas from Louisville and I had to sit at the airport till 10:20 for my 5:30 flight because it was raining in Florida. I'm surprised they are still in business after the last couple of years of shady business practices. DON'T FLY SOUTHWEST, THEY ARE CROOKS. 0 stars, 2 thumbs down
My first experience flying with SW is memorable, amazing, superb, boarding in Chicago the A/C went out before taking off, the captain make it happen the wait was 5 minutes other airline would have been next day waiting on another plane not worth SW, landed in san antonio my luggage was damage in less than 7 minutes they replace my luggage I was on my way after a long trip, now I have a airline for life the staff all around make me feel appreciated and seem, I'm extremely tall the leg room was splendid and been able to sit at your choice is what set you guys apart from the others, the two free luggage you make it up by having all the customer you have smart move marketing keep up the amazing customer satisfaction and quality in service in going to come work for you guys I wish but I'm making so much money where I'm at thanks KUDOS
I had originally booked a flight with a different airline but had to change flights. My personal experience was horrible! Rude customer service on the hotline & even worse at Omaha Eppley. The agent came off in a very sarcastic demeanor while throwing my luggage around like a piece of paper! If I wasn’t in a rush to catch my flight I definitely would’ve filed a complaint right then & there!
