“Very efficient.”
Review of Qantas

Good service, on time flight and pleasant staff. Short but pleasant flight. Easy check-in. Pity about the lack of a sky bridge but this is not a fault of Qantas but of Hobart Airport.

Booked an extra leg room seat for a last minute flight and could not use points. Haven't flown Qantas for some time and found this flight to be a pleasurable experience. The making of this flight would have to be the crew. Excellent , done with a dose of Australian humour/ laid back but efficient service.
Can they make the seats any tighter or more uncomfortable ?

From the time of booking the customer service was great, very helpful and friendly with any requests we had, the check in was a breeze and the flight was very smooth and seats comfy, the in seat entertainment is great with so many movies to choose from as well as music, tv series etc etc, the kids were given colouring books and pencils to entertain them along with ice cream, the food on board was awesome pulled pork sliders, was one of the tmy Hong’s served but your not short of food on the flight with it being offered ever hour or so along with drink hot and cold. Honestly pay a little extra and give qantas a try really made the holiday great

Recently attended our company's national sales conference in Sydney 18-20 April. Our 5 hour return flight on QF569 on 20 April was like stepping back on a plane from the 1970's. It all started from the departure lounge - announcement made that it was a full flight and passengers with hand luggage were asked to hand over their cabin cases before embarking due to not enough overhead space for everyone to store their belongings. The flight was full around 300 passengers and no spares seats - seat configuration 3x3 on the thinly padded seats and only one isle in the middle to be shared by cabin staff serving and passengers trying to use toilet was no fun. Drop down 9inch screens from ceiling every four rows of seats - good luck to those that managed to watch the one and only movie The Greatest Showman. Streaming to phones and personal ipads available to only half the passengers due to tech issue but when we asked cabin staff before take off to reboot we were told that unfortunately they could not as it would have inconvenienced passengers already watching shows. The flight itself was noisy - loud humming noise all the way to Perth and cabin pressure so poor my colleague and I had to take Panadols and Nurofen for headaches an hour into the flight. We tried to have some sort of conversation but we could hardly hear what the other was saying due to blocked ears. Seriously from my experience the worst flight I've ever been on. Don't know the circumstances around why Qantas would use such old uncomfortable plane on a 5 hour flight. Thankfully we landed safely but very roughly - we all gasped when the tyres hit the tarmac - literally. Thought the plane was going to fall apart on impact. Perhaps they should consider take it out of service or use it on a shorter route.

I was privileged to have flown on the inaugural non stop flight from Perth to London March 25th 2018. The flight was very manageable & the cabin staff were magnificent - London based. The downside was I had a serial seat recliner sitting in front of me and after only 1 hour out of Perth this ignorant woman reclined her seat and while Qantas advertised more leg room etc but when you have a passenger who has no regard for other passengers comfort extra leg room means nothing. Qantas needs to inform passengers in their safety film the consequence of reclining seats especially on a 17 hour flight.
The flight itself will suit many West Australians but I will continue to explore other ways of reaching London. My choice to date is with British Airways from Singapore to London Heathrow and I can get to Singapore either with Qantas, Singapore Airlines or Scoot. I can also link up with Qantas QF1 from Sydney which is an Airbus A380 service and more comfortable than the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The best economy seats on the A380 are the rear seats on the top deck. You can recline your seat without fear of upsetting other passengers and you are right in front of the galley so if you don't sleep like me refreshments are right there & often resting crew are happy to talk to you.
