Very inefficient and poor service.
On the 5th of August I took a flight from SJJ to ZAG onboard 9A-CQF, a Dash 8. Despite being relatively new, the plane's interior is in terrible shape.My seat 14A was broken, cupholder broken and overall the interior was filthy.Cabin crew seemed unenthusiastic but did their job.
My return was on 12th of August, again on the same plane.The flight was first delayed by 45 minutes and then by another hour and finally departed at 00:10, more than two hours after the scheduled departure.This time I sat on 19A.Again the seat back was broken.
The biggest issue is the checkin.Their online checkin does not work for flights outside the EU so it has to be done manually at the counter.This is not stated anywhere and the online checkin on the airline's website says 'visa required ADC" or "unable to checkin". This, coupled with very high prices for a 40 minute flight onboard a very badly maintained aircraft and basic service consisting of just a glass of water, makes this carrier one to avoid.

2 hours wait in Frankfurt to drop the bags as CA doesn’t have the option. Desk agent arrives late and send me to the end of the line in order for her to check in first flight that she was completely late for in the first place . When asked for the supervisor she lied to me that no one is available and to send the e mail. Supervisor shows up and tells me they had technical difficulty they never communicated to the passengers . Worst possible airline to fly with. Very rude employees and awful customer service

My wife and her friend's luggage was lost on the flight to Dubrovnik. She contacted the airline and the bags were eventually forwarded to Zagreb (10 days later). The terminal staff in Zagreb were hard to reach and didn't deliver the baggage. Also, when my wife went to the airport to pick up her baggage, the terminal staff wouldn't answer the phone so she could be let in to the claim area. That trip was in June of 2023, she filed a claim while she was on the trip and to date we have gotten no response or compensation for the items she had to buy as a result of the lost baggage. It was likely not Croatia Air's fault that the baggage was lost, but they are responsible for the ensuing problems with baggage delivery and the lost baggage claim.

The worst experience imaginable. My flight was delayed by 3 hours. When I landed I had missed my connection. No one was there to rebook or help me find a hotel. I had to book my own hotel and, in the morning, go back to the airport to find help. I found NO help. The woman behind the desk at Croatia airlines had NO empathy and told me she would only be able to get me on a flight in THREE days. In the end they got me on a flight that evening but only after I kicked up a fuss and refused to leave until they got me on a flight. They have not responded to my claim for reimbursement, nothing. It was so terrible. I will never fly this airline again.

Late almost every time, 2 hours ZAG-DBV, 1h DBV-ZAG, from ten flights 6 are late, avoid if you can.
Expensive tickets for quality given
