“Short Flight but Worth It”

This is MNL-HKG-MNL morning flight. It departs from MNL Terminal 3. Check-in online to skip long queue at the check-in counter. The ground staff are nice and efficient. This flight is operated by Cathay Pacific Airways utilizing B777 and A330. HKG-MNL has a seat configuration of 3-4-3 but at the back where seat 78A is located has 2-4-2 confirguration. You might want to chose this seat as it is more spacious than other seats in the Economy section. Seats has generous leg room and comfortable. There is even enough space even when the tray is opened. A cup / bottled water holder is also available in every seat. Charging is not a problem as there is availble USB charging. This is just a short flight so only refreshments are served. Coffee is available upon request. IFE is available with plentiful selection. The FA's are well-mannered, nice, and wears a smile all the time.

we flew on a Monday night the redeye flight and were lucky it was quite empty. 3 seats each and a good night sleep. Cathay has great staff and sttentive servicer

This is my fourth biz trip on CX during the last few weeks and also 1st time to use the pressreader and very happy with this freebie ( but only available at CX lounges ). The Chinese beef congee breakfast was tasty but beef was so tough that it was simply not eatable even after repeated chewing! To add insult to injury, the stewardess spilled tea onto my pants ( 100% carelessness ). On the return journey our plane was delayed twice and finally took off 90 minutes later than original schedule. Food was normal y class style BUT big complaint is that the A300 is old: the entertainment system broke down after 2 hours and after reboot, same! The remote control is so well worn that some switches can not be read.....

Beautifully take off and landing. No delay. Flight service is good except sparkling drink easily running out.

The check-in counter at Heathrow is still less than ideal being in an odd position and cramped, however the lounge has improved. Relaxing chairs and some decent food.
