I’m not one to write reviews unless I have had a terrible experience.
My husband and I arrived at the airport a few hours ago with a flight going out tonight. There were 77 seats available on the flight, however to sit next to my husband I had to pay an extra $82. After being upset with the gentleman I handed over my card. 25 minutes later, he hands me a receipt. I confirmed with my credit card, and there are two positive charges.
He said there was nothing he could do and recommend I call while I wait. I just got off the phone with Linda at America Lines. She is a manager and told me if I needed the transaction to be voided I would need to see the guy who charged my card. (Go back through security.)
Due to me not willing to do that, she suggested I go online in 24 hours and request a refund.
Thank you American Airlines for your terrible service. You might not mind loosing two customers. But hopefully you mind about the reviews, not only myself, but others are leaving.
