“Despite challenges with management Flight Attendants”
Review of American Airlines

Reviewed 2 May 2018

Frequent Flyers understand the increasing challenges Flight Attendants go through. Emotional support animals (Birds, Dogs, Cats and the occasional Rodent), demanding customers, challenging pay, flight interruptions, and handling passengers with a smile.

We were flying from Little Rock to Allentown, PA round trip. The Charlotte to Allentown segment cancelled due to Northeaster so AA put us on another airline, United, to Philadelphia thru Houston. On the return, another Northeaster arriving in Allentown. AA flight to Charlotte was overbooked so we accepted a $1k voucher (each) if we take another flight.. AA arranged a limo to Philadelphia then an evening flight to Cincinnati. Spent the night in Cincy then take morning flight to Chicago then nonstop to Little Rock.. This whole thing worked pretty well except for the hotel. Gate agents in Allentown told us to check with AA desk in Cincy about hotel voucher. We got to Cincy late and AA desk was closed. We did file and receive 100% reimbursement for hotel expense in Cincy.

What was supposed to be a 12 hour flight turned into almost 3 full days. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Save your time and stress and money.

just booked and paid for tickets to italy. Went to select seats - guess what they surprised us with charging $94 extra, each way, for any seat on either side not in the middle. The configuration of the plane is four seats in the center and two seats on each of the sides.
No advance warning when booking. Airlines no longer care about customers as long as they are full.

Will never fly AA again! We flew from Jamaica to Miami, we landed at 3:30 and our next flight time was at 5:30pm. Customs took forever, then we received a ticket that stated we would skip the long TSA process, but my husband got stop by AA manager saying that his carry bag was to big. (Which made no sense, since we flew AA to get to Miami.) That took forever because we had to check in his bag, thank God another AA associate came to help us out, we then told him our flight was in the next 30 minutes. He told us to go to checkpoint 1, the line was so long and they rechecked us, it was almost like going through a TSA line! We stop an AA associate to let them know what was going on and to see if they would speed up the process for us or help us out. They didn’t care, he said next time come in early and continue his conversation in Spanish! We did end up making our flight but the last people to board. I wish they would’ve told us the process with a connecting flight but never again. Please AA work on your customer service skills but also provide some sort of entertainment and free WiFi, we already pay enough!
